"i'm just a soul whose intentions are good
oh lord, please don't let me be misunderstood"
in today's world, her character is much more than just a character. she is a person that educates, that tells people not to judge before you understand. she breaks all the stereotypes about muslims and this is exactly what world needs now - understanding.
sana is the reason i started to watch skam and i swear to god, i'VE NEVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE A CHARACTER WITH SUCH A HUGE POTENTIAL AS HER, she's that kind of character you can personalize with sooo much and i'm so glad she was the main character, i see islam in a different light after i saw her living as a muslim, she educated me and i'm glad she ended with yousef acar so at least i'm sure that when i let her go after skam ends, he will treat her the way she deserves to be, this girl seriously deserves all the love in the world.

    Sana Bakkoush deserves the world, honestly, i've never seen a character so great like her and probably never will but at least i'm glad this show gave us the opportunity to see such things in this season, and you portrayed it so well in this video Simone, you always surprise me girl.

    Yup honestly i never cry watching show but when i first heard her letter of apologize talking about how she felt being a Muslim woman i related so much it made me tear up ! Muslims are usually so badly depicted in TV shows ! It also felt like a relief having a character like Sana... Like us on TV ❤️

    Sana deserves the world. Her character has evolved so much and I feel sad for the fact that her season wasn't fully do used on her, when she had so much to say. But now we're going to have to say goodbye to the Noorhelm, Yousana, all the girl squad, P.Chris, the Balloon Squad. There are so many goodbyes and I am definitely not ready 😭 This edit was an absolute masterpiece, it was so beautiful and powerful

    I'm sorry I'm replying to this after three years, this might sound ridiculous, but just thought I'd share something. By Islam's belief, generally speaking, woman are attractive to men, and they have more attractive qualities to men that a man does to a woman. I'm not saying women don't find men attractive, but their attractive qualities are not exactly that spread on their physique like women, and are not as bold. Men can get attracted rather easily, to hair and body shape and such, and since women have those qualities bolder in their physique, they should cover all that can come across attractive to men, like hair, arms, body, you know. The same does go for men, but it's not exactly focused on because it's not exactly that different from the usual dressing for men; they should cover legs, torso, things that come across attractive towards a women. Then again, this is what Islam says. It's not exactly sexist, it's just made the way it matches with different qualities between female and male. The rule is made, so that what ties two people wouldn't be just physical or started off as physical. Islam values love, relationship, and marriage to a high extent, because it believes that love is a gift, something holy, and so the process of the creation of another human being is a holy and spiritual process, and it should be based on real love. Thus it sets these boundaries, so people can actually fall into a relationship based on who the person is, what they're like, who they are, rather than how they look. There's also a lower chance if a marriage failing like that. Also it's not exactly like it ignores sexual attraction completely (since there's a time before marriage that man and woman duo to a vow can have intimacy), it just prevents it from becoming the first step, from being what the relationship starts off from. Because for Islam, physical body is not something that stays, it fades away with time and is destroyed when buried, so it doesn't exactly stay, thus it shouldn't matter in marriage. Marriage, which, if bound by love and care, and if not seen divorce, according to Islam, goes on until afterlife and forever. (Which is kinda odd sounding since it might seem like Islam doesn't value love all that much when the prophet himself fell in love with his first wife.) These values are supposed to be taught to, you know, any person, anywhere in the world, at least that's what I believe, whether they wear hijab or not, (because body doesn't matter, the person is the one that matters) but I mean, accidents might happen, so Islam kinda is all in for extra-safety.

    @@moonlight.z6543 as you said this was 3 years ago, and now i'm much less forgiving to islam & muslims. Islamic culture is degenerate and mirror-opposite to Western culture. Muslims who enter the West should be made to assimilate to western world, including dress code. Or better yet - they shouldn't enter the West at all.

  • @moonlight.z6543

    @moonlight.z6543

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@starfall4824 It is absolutely okay if you think that. Every person can have their own beliefs. However, nowadays, it's not possible to limit people in their country boundaries and stop them from living or going to other parts of the world, whatever their reason may be. Yes, western and islamic culture are very different, and there's no shadow of doubt in that. But it's literally impossible to force somebody into a dressing code, or belief code (?) because you said western culture? The said western culture is about freedom and free speech, is it not? It is. I'm not defending anybody, but I'm just saying that forcing a dress code on Muslims is just as ridiculous as forcing the islamic dress code on non-muslims, which, yes, some countries do that, and it doesn't make any sense. Beliefs and choices can't be forced on people. If you say that, then it equals to saying that, in return, if anyone comes into a muslim country, they should be forced to wear hijab or do the things the way Muslims do. I don't know about you, but if roles were exchanged, I wouldn't want to be forced into something or someone that I'm not. (Btw I'm not starting any arguments here, that's not my intention, I'm just saying what I think about what you said. Again, you're free to believe what you believe, and that's okay)

    @@moonlight.z6543 "Limiting people" is absolutely possible. A country can decide who they want to or don't want to host. A lot of arab countries do force foreign women to wear hijabs on their territory. Yes If i decide to live in another country - then i'm going to follow their culture and social rules. If you want to keep to your own - stay in your own country.
