This is one of the the most beautifully shot video on killifish! So much hard work! And thank you for showing us the live close up hatching of both killi and artemia eggs. Instantly subscribed. Aren't all Vernal pool creatures most interesting and prettiest of all aquatic life forms? Killifish, fairy shrimp, daphnia, triops and even brine shrimp. They have a journey, a story that's so fascinating to watch happening inside your living room in a short span. They live fast, party hard and bid adieu before you ever get bored of them like Rock stars of nature. Also they leave behind the next generation of eggs that can survive without water for years. Too bad vernal pools are getting destroyed all over the world. On another thought, IMHO its humane to breed these creature in a small home setup compared to other aquatic animals. They live in similarly sized ditches and by breeding them (if you manage to do it without killing them) you give them a chance to survive and repopulate.
