poor take! Dubstep has evolved so much over the last 20+ years that you can listen to pretty much whatever you want without spreading negativity. We’re all here for the music, not for "best dubstep sound" contest or whatever. So stop hatin!

So glad I found this. Love that grey area where 2step started getting experimental and eventually became dubstep.

I was on the fringes when the b sides of garage were getting darker as a teenager, but not living in London I didn't get to hear much early proper dubstep. This i s the most dubish set I've ever heard, amazing I wish there was a tracklist!

amazing that these tracks are still around i miss DUBWAR NYC :(

they do hardly come round to the states. lots of them still active. coki is in the states right now, or at least was this past year. mala is about to get here and is going a bunch of dates across the country. he releases less tunes but is still djing and heads up his label. skream still puts out music and spins but its more varied than just dubstep. benga apparently just un-retired from making music, so maybe we'll get more from him soon.
