For anyone shocked how they got these people to do the movie gotta remember the words of the great Micheal Caine when talking about Jaws 4(one of the worst movies ever made.) "I have never seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific.” Sometimes an easy paycheck is all you need to do a movie.

Believe it or not, Jon's video is actually the safest review I've seen for this movie, mainly because he didn't talk about the other "content". There's another villain in this film that I believe is voiced by Tim Curry (or at least someone who sounds like Tim Curry) where his entire thing is sounding very sexual and flamboyant. That's just one of the many unfunny jokes that you were graciously spared from discovering.

Dex is honestly the most normal character and ofc he would be special because he's the protagonist, no but seriously Dex is the best character for not looking uncanny especially when he speaks.

They did have rights to many of the brands, but they dropped out because even they realised that this was a doomed project. In an early trailer, Chester Cheetah was on it. Two of the characters had to be "replaced" because they lost the rights of using them, the chocolate bat is originally Count Chocula and Sunshine Cat Human is originally Sun Maid Raisins.

FYI that guy that comes out of the DVD is Paul from Continue, a gaming channel. He's done a few other cameos in Jon's video and Jon has been on Continue. I recommend watching their drunk extravaganza videos

There’s a lot wrong with this movie like the animators being forced to use untested motion shit for the face capture that lead to this looking worse than it does. From what I remember hearing they wanted this cartoony while some higher up wanted this to have motion stuff.(Forgetting words sorry) Also the movie actually had very little rights to some of the brands & made fun of the brands that didn’t let them use their mascots. Examples being: That slap fight between the buff guys, the “Do I look like the Dairy Queen” lady is the banana lady, crashing into the cookie elfs’ tree, that turd rat is their mocking of Cheetos(even has a cheese related name, also he’s a back alley seller & one item was a blow up doll), the bat obsessed with chocolate I think was the chocolate vampire guy(I forget). The worse one that isn’t even mocking a brand was why Little Debbie isn’t in the movie, she was replaced because Wayne Brady’s character cat calls her from his air plane before crashing into the tree.

Btw that joke about Mr clean irl chasing that guy out, a lot of people probably didn't catch this but did you notice how it was a bit different than other JonTron sketches? It was made to look like Nostalgia Critic's sketches as sort of a subtle parody/reference to them. Ironically, it made me realize how bad the acting is in Nostalgia Critic's videos and made me a huge Jontron fan instead lol

It nice to see this old JONTRON video. Also, they lost a lot of supermarket represention when it took ten year to make this movie

I just don't get it--why would they make the protagonist a dog and make *raisins* his thing? Of all possible foods, why pick one of the most toxic things a dog could eat?

Funny you should mention Little Debbie. There's a female ike that Dan catcalls while flying around the city - stuff like "How 'bout some chocolate frosting?" and "I'd like to butter your muffin!" ...That ike was originally going to be Little Debbie.

I think the only food fight I was ever apart of was at a zombie and clown wedding.

I was in a foodfight once it was more like a war in 8th grade someone throwned a fruit cup at me so I beamed a milk carton at them in there face and yes there was still milk in it and it exploded in there face everyone laughed so hard that the principal heard it and made us clean it mind u I got off scott free cuz im a good person and I don't start trouble😂

I actually own this movie and have watched it fully for a reaction video. Aside from the horrible animation, the story was interesting, the voice acting passable, no "35-minute" food fight sequence, which makes me think that if it had been finished back then it would've LOOKED good, too. It seems like after they found the files years later, they just half-asseedly slapped it together before they lost the files again.

Interesting fact! Grapes are actually toxic to dogs, not quite as lethal as chocolate but not good for them. I think it's toxic in the same way alcohol is for humans too much and it will be akin to poison.

I would highly recommend Videogame High School.

Perspective: Shrek was released in 2002; that movie cost $60 million. Hmm 🤔

Little Debbie was totally in the movie. The squirrel monster yelled a bunch of groddy sex comments at her on the street. It was pretty gross.
