ハスクバーナHusqvarna 236E (fuel lines replacement)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

First up, 2 apologies: one for the audio quality and one for the annoying coughing.
I am not a mechanic but I do enjoy learning and helping myself to get things done. I bought this machine on the internet in January 2012 (a shade under ¥30000)it has been a great reliable workhorse. I’ve never had any trouble with it as it starts every time, but it is getting to the point where adding parts to it in order to keep it going won’t be worth it any more - it’s going to be cheaper to buy a new machine. Having said that I wanted to try to see if I could learn to do this little job. It’s the closest I’ve ever been to a carburettor in my life. I was a little bit worried about dirt getting in, that was my main concern. I was ecstatic when the machine started and it’s quite possible it will continue to give more life for a few more years.
Oh, and I am aware of the idling issue, another thing to learn to do.
I paid ¥4180 for the parts, which shocked me. I still do not understand how that could have been avoided.
I hope this helps you with your own machine repairs.

This video has answered all my queries...very simply demonstrated. I have the same problems with my Jonsered 2234 which is a similar saw... thanks a million.

I think you will agree that saw is running terrible. I recently repaired a 236e for a friend. He had already replaced carby, fuel lines and spark plug etc. Saw had plenty of compression and should have run. I checked spark which appeared week. After temp replacing coil pack I replaced the original 3 magnet flywheel with the 2 magnet flywheel off my Husqvarna 137 and completely changed saw into what it should be. This fix will cost about $20, hope this info helps

Block your carb with a paper towel to keep debris out while you work. Also, use carb or brake cleaner to clean up the linkages and carb itself.

QUESTION .... MY 326 CHAINSAW has some fuel trouble I installed a new carbu. and it starts and stops could be the inlet line is to small 3 .5 Diameter the carburettor people provided me with both fuel lines one yellow and one black ---the old one is yellow --outlet 4.5 di and must have been white one the inlet ---- BOTH THE NEW ONE ARE 4.5 diam. to fit the new one to the petrol tank I should drill the hole out bigger probably 4.5dia (mm) In doing this operation could create any problem to the carb or its ok ?

Low side screw was in a bit to far. Lean stall when sitting(running out of fuel at idle)

The choke should disengage as soon as you pull the trigger, you shouldn't have to manually push it back in

What are the inner and outer diameters of the fuel hose? Can you give me a link to where I can purchase the fuel hose to check the specifications?
