For those who don't understand the joke. The context is that this Land Raider was part of Space Marine chapter Crimson Fists defending their homeworld and chapter monastery (HQ) from ork invasion after some unforchunate shenanigans. Long story short, they almost lost, with only handful surviving, the base was destroyed, and this here tank after 'seeing' the HQ and all its chapter brothers died, started to ride around killing orks, without drivers. Hence the Terminator soundtrack. Its assumed its machine spirit (basically pretty much its personal AI with limited access) liked its chapter so much it went full beast mode after losing them.

That is probably one of the most wholesome story where a machine spirt actually help it chapter, I can see why the Machine cult plays such an important role in the space marines army

@@jonathanwatson4484 There are few stoies like this. One Knight, Canis Rex, that was defeated by chaos forces and had its pilot captured, turned itself on and went to find its pilot to escape. Other time one knight that saw its house destroyed by Eldar kept fighting until Wraightknights destroyed it, and there is a story where pilot lost control over the knight and the knight killed a warboss, saving a knight house king, from death. And of course it happens more often with Titans who sometimes have machine spirit/Ai so strong it rebels and walks off where it wants if pilot is too weak to control it.

@@michasalamon8315 im pretty sure black templar tanks have a similar thing too but with a lot more zeal and a really holy machine spirit, to the point where the tank will randomly run into the enemy camp violently slaughtering it's enemy

VD: I hate mortals. Also VD: time to bend laws of physics to save some mortals once again. Funny how the most powerful of all C'Tan, who're supposed to be pure evil compared to chaotic neutral of Chaos gods, and the only one left unchained among them just bends the rules to answer a prayer that doesn't benefit him in no way. Just because he feels like it. And no other C'Tan acts like that. Because screw that, I want it so.

@@TheArklyte well it probably knows it isint getting out anytime soon or even if it does escape everyone will team up on it. So I think it's just watching the events of the galaxy like a TV show and bends the rules of the universe to save it's "favorite characters" after all it's a boring show if all you're favorites died.

@@Demicleas & I'm pretty sure the void dragon was not a fan of being evil for evils sake, rather he was more interested in how he could advance the material realm through his visions, insights & dreams. it might be even the case that it despised eating souls, sure it does to survive, but unlike its brethren the void dragon never actively partook of the red harvests, they were more of the night bringers & the deceivers shtick. not saying the dragon never ate souls, just that it didn't do so often as it was more interested with the tech & other things it could conjure with its imagination.

I love the smell of fried fungus. Smells like victory.

I wrote this before, but here is it again : i dont remember where i read it, but as far as i remember, it was a short story about a baneblade who went sentient. On an agri World that was invaded by orks, One of its tracks broke while he Was moving through a village that was some miles from the frontline. Farmhands helped put his track back togheter, and the children played on him and decorated him with flowers and stuff. When the orks suddendly broke through the Front, the Crew got the order to give up the village and its people and retreat with the tank. They tried, but the tank went stubborn, moving not an inch no matter what they tried, and when they gave him up to flee by foot, the tank bolted forward the second the boots of his commander who left him last touched the dirt of the road. He drove right into the orks gunsblazing, diverting their attention away from the fleeing villagers long enough they could escape to the secondary frontlines, into relative safety.

The Crimson Fist losing almost all their brothers because of a malfunction of an imperial missile is even worse then Lamenter level shit. That’s so dumb. It’s like there’s so many sons of Dorn because of the black Templars the universe needs to correct this by almost wiping out every other chapter.

i mena...the closest thing to ork meat would be portebello mushrooms (meatier texture) so try roasting some and you'd get a decent approximation.
