But if you have budget constraint and you want for family then it’s better then Revo and other cross overs available ( value wise / reliability / size / Rigidity / Toyota badge you can’t never ever go wrong ! )

It depends upon the engine not the fuel type. I have 3.5 L V6 2GR FE Avalon which is a huge car. it produces 268 HP and 250 nm torque and it gives me 30-35 mpg (13km/l ) on the highway cruising at 75 mph ..1 mile =1.6 km

Got my Fortuner GRS this week and it has been fabulous. Never go for petrol variant. Diesel variants are much more powerful and better average wise. Also diesel is cheaper than petrol now a days so petrol variant is overall useless.
