the author is a really nice person I doubt that even if the author had this idea it wouldn't be canon and even if it was she wouldn't do this they said in the manga that the punishment is seppuku which is less torture and pain even though I still hate it

I was gonna agree with a part 2. Part 2 Idea (You can use it if you want): The Hashira think that' how Giyuu sees them after all the crap he's been through (Even by Sanemi and Iguro hands). Giyuu being most horrified of Shinobu and Mitsuri due to how harsh their ideas were in the doujinshi. After the reaction, they don't see themselves the same, but they start to grow very protective of Giyuu That's all i got for a part 2 if you make it
