I say this as somebody who watched your other challenge video and your old reaction video, which both made me very uncomfortable at some of the situations you put giyuu in that I have experienced myself. I'm just confused how your trying to display this?

@@Fishytaroo OKAY so. His childhood. We know both his parents died from unknown illnesses at a young age. And I’m assuming since Tsutako died when she was 21 that he was 12, turning 13 so they have a 9 year age difference. His mom, who will remain un-named until I come up with something good, died after their father(also unnamed), who died when Tsutako was 9 and Giyuu had just been born. Since there mother ended up being a widow, they couldn’t afford to live in their home anymore and essentially they got evicted since Giyuu and Tsutakos dad did majority of the work while their mother was raising Tsutako, that’s not to say he was neglectful or abusive. He was just a hard worker and very loyal to his wife. But overworking is what killed him and he unfortunately passed early due to overworking his body despite his wife’s efforts to get him to rest. After his death she, Tsutako and Giyuu(who wasn’t even a year old yet) set off to her home village, knowing it’s the only place she could go now. Tsutako and Giyuus mother was not welcomed with open arms because she had eloped years ago with their now deceased father and her family essential shunned her, and in return the village didn’t like her. But, since her family is religious they decided to forgive her and take her in as forgiveness is the most devout thing one could do for her, despite her sinning. They ended up being housed just outside the village in a small wooden house, next to a river. Their mother, despite the hatred she faced in the village was kind to her children, even as an illness was slowly creeping up on her. Even though the villagers didn’t like their mother, Tsutako was well liked, she was soft spoken and very pretty, drawing the attentions of other children. Although she was very kind she grew angry quickly if someone spoke ill of her family, even at age 9 she was very quick to straighten out any rumors. A couple months pass and Giyuu starts to walk, rather early, surprising both Tsutako and their mother but their mother uses it as an opportunity. She teaches him to swim in the river by their home, she and Tsutako both worry he won’t like it, when their mother placed him in the shallow part of the water, the water reaching just above his waist, his face scrunches up and they hold their breath before their eyes widen in shock. Giyuus face breaks out into the widen grin they’ve ever seen from him and he starts splashing where he stands, giggling as small fish swim past him. And so his relationship with water starts there. 4 years past and their mother dies from an unknown illness and Tsutako is 13, Giyuu is 4. He’s a very…quiet child, though not unkind, he’s a bit slower to social queues and has a harder time making friends as he resembles their mother greatly, piercing blue eyes wide with curiosity, soft and gentle. While he doesn’t speak much, he does his best to be helpful, as much as he can, even though he’s only four. A shop owner in town took pity on the now orphans, bringing them food and helping them build fires during winter and giving them new shoes and clothing as they grow older. The shop owner, named Osamu Koharu happens to have a son, named Yasuo who Tsutako grows close with, and all four of them form a close bond. Tsutako and Yasuo falling in love. Yasuo gifts her an red bow on her 15th birthday. They were to be married during the spring. That didn’t happen. The demon attacks the night before their wedding, leaving Giyuu alone in the cupboard in the kitchen all night, hearing the screams and sounds of flesh ripping from his sister being murdered and eaten. He doesn’t leave the cupboard until the evening the next day, when Koharu comes to find him because Tsutako is late. When Giyuu comes out, he’s quiet, in shock at the events, then in a snap he’s frantic, running to the sitting room, sobbing uncontrollably at the sight of blood, Tsutakos haori being the only remnants of her. Koharu is shocked, concerned and immediately nauseated by the smell of blood in the room, but he knows better than to pry answers out of Giyuu, the boy already not speaking, sobs wracking his small frame, smaller than average for his age. They stay in silence in the room for hours, Koharu cleaning, Giyuu collapsed on the floor, hugging Tsutakos haori, his grip on the cloth brushing. He eventually starts speaking again, days later, now in the home of the Osamu’s. He’d taken to wearing Tsutakos haori instead of his blue own, it hasn’t been washed, the smell of blood following him everywhere, though Tsutakos smell of cherry blossoms also mingles in the air, the sole reason he didn’t want to wash it. His voice raspy and quiet, he pleads for them to believe him, explains that there was a monster. They don’t believe him, they chalk it up to him being an overly imaginative child. They say it must have been a bear, that would explain the broken down doors and trash furniture and the bloody knife on the ground, Tsutako had tried to defend herself but it wasn’t enough. Giyuu was already an outcast in the village, despite his best efforts to get them to like him, the label of being a troubled child followed him, the other children believing the gossip of their parents that he must have killed Tsutako himself, the label of insane and murderer sticking. He was no longer the “weird and quiet Tomioka”, he would forever be known as the mentally ill boy, the devilish child, the liar, the other children’s parents warned them about. They tried to send him away to relatives of his, doctors they said. He ran, the second they looked away from him, he ran. He ran for hours, as fast as he could go. He ran and he hid, for months, for a year. He nearly died in the woods, surviving off of berries and water from streams and other edible plants he could find. Then winter started, winter is always harder form mountains, the air crisper and colder the closer you got to the top. One day he..gave up trying to live anymore. He hadn’t eaten in days now, winter taking away all the plants he could have eaten. A storm hit and he was almost buried in snow, but a hunter found him and brought him to Urokodaki Sakonji. Giyuu didn’t wake up for a week. He woke up, eyes blank to the face of another boy..who he came to know as Sabito. His best friend. Giyuu was..weak, he couldn’t walk, he could barely talk for the first few months he was with Urokodaki and Sabito. His muscles weak, unable to stand from iron deficiency from lack of nutrition the year he spent by himself on the mountain. He turned 13, February 8th, a month after he was saved by the hunter and Urokodaki took him into his care. And that’s all for now cause my fingers are tired, ignore any and all mistakes, i’m working out the kinks of the timeline but I hope it makes sense !!
