As a cosplayer that does Wild Bill, there IS a reason for the “reversed” pistols on the original figure. It’s called a “Cavalry Draw” and it’s a real thing!!!

Happy it sounds like we can spin the belt the correct way. As a rider of a horse or helicopter pilot like Wild Bill a cavalry or a cross draw would be optimum. For comfort alone, but would allow him to gain access to his pistols while seated. Not sure if that’s why he was originally designed that way or because he shares his name with Wild Bill Hickok who carried this way.

I backed mine! I hope one of the tier unlocks is someone like Static Line. That "YO JOE!" at the end was legit!

Wasn't going to be a backer this time. But when I saw the designs for the Dragonfly I knew I wanted this in my collection. So I backed it within minutes and not seeing any of the videos. This is a great time to be a Joe collector. As of midnight GMT there is 7491 backers. Yo Joe!

Passed on the HISS Tank because I wasn't really collecting Classified then and have always regretted it. Instantly backed this, it looks awesome.

You guys knocked this out of the park and I backed immediately. Looking forward to the rest of the unlocks, because my goodness does Night Force Rip Cord look incredible. The Skystriker Haslab version is a favorite, so VERY excited to get him in Classified! Well done to all involved... and I'm somehow MORE excited for my H.I.S.S to arrive this fall!

I wish they would design more new vehicles.

2 observations... The first is the winch/toe-line cable should be also mountable to the bottom.... This is an extremely easy fix... Just put a slot in the bottom of the fuselage... The second is the canon should be mounted to the landing skid like the original... Again, and easy fix with a simple slot on the top of the skid and reverse the feed belt.... These 2 very extremely easy fixes would make this 100% perfect..... Don't get me wrong, this thing is awesome (I ordered 2) and am extremely happy with the look.. I don't even care about the pistol holsters being the wrong way because that is also an easy fix... Simply twist the belt around...😂😂 Now, I'm not impressed with the Nightforce ripcord, but I can live with it as long as the other 2 are an original ARAH looking Airborne and Lift-Ticket.. that would then make this a grand slam!!

Needs a pull out drawer for accessory storage in the base bottom. And places to secure fishing line to hang from ceiling. Other than that can’t wait!

Wow not a GI Joe fan but this is pretty spectacular! This looks to be the best piece Haslab has ever done! Hope this gets funded for all the GI fans out there!

Collecting G.I. Joe Classified is something I have resisted for years. Awesome looking stuff like this is why. I hope the wild Bill gets another release with colors closer to the show.

Backed instantly, I hope that Crazy-Legs, Airborne, or Lifeline are the Stretch Goals or hear me out, add Blowtorch (come on Lenny) to the tiers just to make me happy...lol. This is great, my first big G.I. Joe vehicle as a kid so my nostalgia is at an all time high.

Looks amazing! Such a great touch to include a stand with it. You could have totally overlooked including a stand, but that’s such a great simple extra you added.

Takes me back to the summer of 1983, I was in the first grade and got the original Dragonfly for my birthday!!!! I can’t wait!!

At first I was definitely gonna pass on it to save money for my upcoming child… buy after this livestream I’m sooooorely tempted to get this… Seriously though you two knocked it out of the park with this… your chemistry is palpable and that goes so far to make these some of the best fanstreams Hasbro puts out.

This is great, guys. I'm an old school o-ring collector, so I haven't been picking up all the Classified stuff, but Wild Bill and the Dragonfly were my first Joe toys back in the day. This is an easy must have for me, and you've knocked it out of the park!

The opening cartoon ad with General Hawk looked entertaining.

This is a more acceptable presentation of the product for me. Getting all the accessories, and effects with the base price and 1 figure. In the end, I'm fairly certain we will get all the unlocks and the breakdown will be 275 for the vehicle and 4 figures; which is an acceptable price range for me. Although, even at the breakdown of 175 for the vehicle and it's accessories is hitting the top of my budget. I get the crowd-funding vibe but I still don't like it. I just don't like the uncertainty of not getting the unlocks. I think I still would go for the simple goal of 19,000 and you get everything and everything is revealed.

One of three biggest dislike is the Hook cable attachment. I see that breaking easily. I’m use to it being in bottles center of the craft. 2nd the other figure ripcord. Just seen like any other pilot. Third…. I do wish there was gimmick for the blade.

That is really cool, definitely getting one or two. So are there any new retro vehicles or figures coming out soon. The o-ring line? Haven't seen anything for a long time. Love to see some. 😊

I think the best part is that it’s only $275+tax. Does it need any lights, not really. I’m glad it doesn’t have sounds. Having a huge base for the helicopter is pretty nice too.

I’ll be getting one. It’s really cool! Love the guns and rockets! I wonder how many people will get more than one. It’s so huge!

This version has elements from the AH-1G Huey Cobra, AH-1J Sea Cobra, AH-1W Super Cobra, & AH-1Z with the wings taken from the AH-1Z Viper. Good work Hasbro you made this close to a AH-1W Super Cobra while borrowing elements from the older Huey Cobra, & the newer Viper I wish this had 4 blades like a Viper but oh well it still feels like the Super Cobra.

I grabbed 2 of them.this will be my first ever dragonfly and wild bill figure .never had him as a kid so I’m excited about this

This looks incredible. I didn't have the original Dragonfly however I had the Tiger Force Tiger Fly and loved it. Very tempted to back this. I gotta wonder though - does Mark just absolutely panic watching you guys show this off LOL. "NO IT DOESN'T GO THAT FAR!!!"

How long will this line last? I am curious to see what a display after 10 haslabs would be.

You can tell Lenny really loves his job and the GI Joe Brand. He is a big kid and that is what makes this line even more special. The entire Team does a great job. The only issues have been distribution and some QC problems here and there. The only figure I didn't buy was Falcon so far as that face gives me nightmares. Might pick him up after I find a good replacement head. I wasn't too excited that it was going to be the Dragonfly as I was thinking how will I ever display it? And I was hoping it was a Tank vs tank. But once again, the GI Joe Team made something special. Sorry display space and wallet. You are going to get abused again. GI Joe was my childhood. And this team really makes me feel like a kid again. Thank you.

My First Haslab. Had to do it.

This looks great, but I'm stuck on the sticker pack for the Dragonfly. For Wild Bill, the website shows "LT W.S. 'Wild Bill" Hardy." Wild Bill was a chief warrant officer four, so the rank should show "CW4," not "LT" (which LT is a naval rank, not Army). It sounds like nit picking, but I collect warrant officers of the RAH and while I am still excited for this particular piece, I am not thrilled with Wild Bill getting the wrong rank.

I think it would be great if they could add LEDs for the nav and beacon lights. When I was little, I added a motor to spin the rotor on my original Dragonfly and put spotlights from a train set on the skids. I'd love the next Classified HasLab to be the original VAMP !

That looks awesome. But there needs to be a Cobra helicopter as well.

Off the hook. GI Joes tragedy back in the day was moving away from real hard core military looking vehicles, this is epic. I say move away from the sci fi and get all the vehicles weapon systems looking amazing.

I agree. I lost interest in GI Joe when it started using horrible neon colors. Gimmick effects like squirt action Eco warriors an just stupid stuff even from the Movie. Cobra was already sci fi futuristic enough. Some Joes had a good balance of it as well. Keep it more realistic with a little sci fi flavor is just perfect.

@@mikepowers9486 Agreed, ive always wanted to see some kind of Vietnam era huts, or buildings, I always wanted jungle bases and I think GI Joe had so many missed opportunities to make more base like play sets that were very army. This Dragonfly is ultra classic army, this is the direction they should go

I don't even collect GI Joe but i'm very tempted to get this. It is most certainly gonna get backed it is less than 2k to go for backing and its the first day. Its gonna get all the tiers by the end.

It does look great and I'm definitely buying one. I really would have preferred a ground vehicle to face off with my HISS tanks in the display though. Something like a Mean Dog that has a ton of play features and could go toe to toe with the HISS on my shelf would be amazing. I think this one will have to sit up on the top of the display though, just doesn't fit into the shelves, lol. Now if we are really talkin dream projects for me it would have to be The Whale. That would be amazing and I wouldn't even care if it was like $500. Come on Lenny, make it happen, a Killer Whale for the ultimate display piece. 😁

Wish it had a motorized rotor. Nothing so ambitious as to actually make it fly, but would have been a nice addition, ditto with a powered winch, beacon lights, and some sound effects. Imagine hitting a button and having the ammo feed for the chain gun cycle, a led flash lighting up the barrel, and a cannon sound. It's so doable with today's toy tech. You can get an RC Huey Cobra the same size for about twice the price, so having the Dragonfly sit on the shelf with a few more features would have been nice.
