Howard's Quirkiness. 2/13/97. 8:30am Howard and the gang spent about 45 minutes talking about how quirky Howard can be. He doesn't think that he is but everyone around him seems to disagree. It all started when Howard asked if a certain door could be removed from the hallway at the station. He thought it was kind of stupid to have a door, that doesn't really do anything, in the middle of a hallway. Tom Chiusano explained that the door separates two air conditioning zones so it has to stay. That led to the discussion about how Howard has to have things a certain way. There wasn't much going on today so they had plenty of time to talk about all of this.

This has been a long-standing stereotype of sorts and there have even been studies on it to see if they’re more nervous or prone to mental illness genetically, it’s never really come up with anything but the fact a study needed to be done says something. Also one study said that Jewish people while making up 1% of Americans make up some crazy high amount of patients for psychologists and therapy. Personally I think this could have a lot to do with their not so pleasant history & the religion itself instilling rules and worry. From what you eat to your entire daily routine down to even special rules like on Shabbat you have to pre cut your toilet paper because you cannot tear anything that day and you can’t flush the toilet after either. So to me, this all seems like with the combination of older generations horrors & the OCD sometimes nonsensical practices instilled by faith it does make sense you’d have a lot of very anxious people who constantly think something may be wrong.

He belittles everyone and profits from them. They write the majority of the show. He shits on them. Ya your so right. He has so much skill. You’re one of those people who would say he’s a great interviewer. Well just because you ask stupid questions like a four year old about who is banging who does not make you a good interviewer. If someone said I made this song. A good question is why what made you think of that. When you look back how was that time different to now. What’s changed. But would you bang her she’s kind of ugly what’s she like in bed. Ya no one asks that crap especially then. But he’s the worst interviewer there is. I’m not saying he hasn’t had a good funny show for all tbe early years. But seriously I’m surprised by how the majority of people think that listen to him. They were 20 year old virgins then in the 90s.now they’re 50 year old virgins in their moms basements
