I don’t do church or religion for that matter, but J Wilson dropped the gem of “storms of correction and storms of perfection.” This situation reminds me of this. “"For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives." Whether they're storms of perfection or correction, both serve the divine purpose of shaping us into better, more faithful versions of ourselves.”

Sounds like the beginning of deconstruction🤷🏾♂️ “I saved myself.” An awakening could have happened within and the church “game/culture ” has lost its flavor… Personal Experiences: Traumatic or eye-opening experiences can lead people to question previously held beliefs. This could include negative experiences within a religious institution, such as encountering hypocrisy, abuse, or dogmatism, which can cause individuals to reevaluate their faith and practices.
I’VE EXPERIENCED WORSE, SAINT JAMES‼️ But I knew better than to turn my back on God!😢

I don't think he "turned from God." This simply shows that he is not perfect. Only Christ can accurately make such a claim regarding perfection.
