Has Disney Gone Too Far?

Disney per capita spending at their parks for FY Q1 2022 is up 40% compared to Q1 of last year. While Disney park customers may be grumbling about Disney prices, shareholders certainly don't mind. But still, the question remains, have Disney's profit-driven tactics gone too far?

They simply moved inflation costs to their customers

Did you expect anything else? That is why Inflation is a tax on lower income folks.

Don’t be naive, Disney’s number 1 priority has always been profits and there stake holders. Any posturing for their customers is nothing more than a strategic move to raise profits.

Yes but if you look back over the corporation of Disney's history you will find that they have almost lost it all several times and the slope to losing it all was very Steep and easy to accomplish getting to the bottom so this is no small move for Disney and it makes absolutely no sense just like most of the things the left does leave your politics and your religion at the door has everybody forgotten that little sign before you enter the fun place

It would be nice for Disney to reintroduce their dividend.

As a shareholder, I actually hope they spend a few years holding the dividend and using that money to produce more content. That'll help Disney+grow faster and will thus put them in a stronger place as a company

I wrote Disney, trying to get an extra shirt that my granddaughter bought me last Thanksgiving at Disney World ( this is her grandma), & looked online, but can't find it. If anyone has any pull with Disney, maybe they can suggest getting those mint green Minnie Mouse Disney World shirts available, for grandparents who want to keep wearing special gifts. Why not put them online, & have this continuous $ stream?

Disney is not what it used to be. This company has changed it's focus dramatically. I have canceled my disney+ and I will never visit their parks again. They are not the family friendly company they once were.
