It would be wonderful if you could do an episode that explains the types of grain, What they look like, what they are used for, why each one is different to harvest, why do you plant so many different types, how the harvester is prepared to tackle each type, and any other details. I love the the Harvest and now I would love to see some details

That’s some excellent aerial footage. Matt you’re pretty good at operating that drone. You guys operate like a finely tuned machine. I like how you all do a lot of preventive maintenance on your machines, it definitely proves to be effective when you’re under the gun and pushing a lot of crops through them. I have similar beliefs… fix them when they’re not needed so your not caught fixing them when they are needed. Lol. I also like how you all take pride in your work. Except that ignition switch! Lol just kidding!! I’ve done that very same thing before. Lol have a wonderful day, and thank you for sharing. This is my favorite channel on KZread.

Handy tip for dumping into swing away augers, back up the the end not the side. the grain flows into the auger better and quicker with less splash back

Great drone footage and the super Solomon was impressive. No moisture problems at Moree area this year. We got 28 mm out of that stormy weather in early November which was a nice follow up from the last one. So now I assume the marketing starts. Holding over 12 months of organic wheat seems unusual. How do you manage the insect issuer in organic wheat?

Great stuff again mate! Can you please explain a couple of things.... (for the dum dum's like me) when you put the auger up onto the top of the silo, do you have to climb up there and open the hatch or is there a cable/pulley system to open it ? Also, do you have to clean out the augers before using a different product through it? Thanks

Farmers have to have many qualifications but the main one is resilience. Farmers have to be adaptable and they are, it is the only way to survive. By the way I have a tertiary Ag qualification from the mid 70s when it meant something (HAC) but there was much more to my farming education than that. We also learnt to spell, rubbish has 2 bs.
