That sounds about right.

I really love this game. I think some of the points you raised were a bit unfair. I mean enemies just standing there is something that is pretty much any game with enemies laying around, as soon as they notice your presence they do attack. Same with the empty houses. They took the time to actually make all the houses at least accessible and when you compare that to Pokémon Violet and Scarlet which doesn't even do that, Harvestella is pretty good in that regard. Harvestella looks and plays fantastic. Personally I feel it's very underated and rated by people who rate it badly over moot points.

Hey I’m really glad you enjoy the game! Wish I did. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I still have to wonder if maybe the full game is more fun because I do see people enjoying it. But some people go kinda easy on games like this in my opinion. If the combat is still the way it is here in this demo, that’s a pass for me when I have such a big backlog.

I think they got a lot right, but also a lot wrong. It's a bit like Harvest Moon One World in that regard, I think. I love the artstyle, the music, and the core story so far. The problems are the time rush, lack of voice acting, terrible customisation, rubbish fishing, super blurriness in handheld, and abysmal dialogue. Also, it bothers me that most NPCs have very generic names. And I agree with you that the animations, particularly for looting nodes, are very disappointing. Like I said: a bit like One World. There's some really brilliant things, but a lot of baffling decisions. I'm not sure it's worth the asking price.

There will be updates at launch such as slower time but yeah there are just so many games these days I have to be picky. It would take some big updates to make this game worth it for me and I’m pretty sure that’s just not going to happen.
