That’s not wild pineapples and they don’t grow like that as well. This is a fruit of a pandanus tree. We have them back in the island and we don’t eat them as well.We used its leaves for weaving mats etc. and their fruits for our traditional island necklace.

But how she lived and cooked is so economic.. No proper fire place or enough utensils.. The old man and woman seen in early part of the video is be may her parent.. She is lucky woman who have parent and sufficient places to grow all the fruits and veggies of her own.. 🤠
