Hello lovely people!
Here’s some footage I shot 6 months ago harvesting shallots. It’s my first upload so please be kind!
These shallots were grown in-ground and had the odd feed of blood & bone + seaweed solution. In total I ended up with 200+ shallots which have lasted in storage since then (6 months!!).
I’ve found them to be a wonderful alternative to onions that are easy to grow and store well 👏🏻
My garden is located in Central Otago, New Zealand (Zone 8b-ish)
