Ya know it's kind of a twisted thing to put this in a game... projecting the idea of girls out to follow their husbands after marriage, leaving their dreams and goals behind while saying "Life is like a festival". Yeah, except that it's a festival with the temporal moments of happiness, fun and games... BUT has all sorts of sad stories and suffering hidden underneath. Like. That shit, this ending and that music is waaaay too anti-climactic. GBA version is better.

so yeah... i hate this girl version of harvest moon because once she married she should leave her job just to follow her husband... but well maybe in this story that was her goal then (but then what is the point of owning animals, upgrading the tools, the house, etc anyway?) .-. luckily in the latest harvest moon release, girls are still independent to continue doing what they want even though they have been married

I think every guy in harvest moon has a girl paired up with them. The doctor with Elli, Kai with Popuri, Gray with Mary, Cliff with Ann, Rick with Karen. So eventually they’ll end up with someone even after dumping them.

Nah, the game always ends if you marry someone 😢

The thing that fells weird about the ending of this version is about the guy in the opening, like who is that guy and why does the ending say nothing about him? The only thing him is the life is like a festival line, nothing else said about him at all, this ending just feels really unfinished about some of the plot.

Better late than never. You can get a girl's affection by giving her gifts everyday. And the items that you give vary on the type of girl you give it to. Example Mary loves red grass but Karen hates it.

Is it just me or is the girl version harder to pursue boys? I gave the doctor so much bamboo shoots and blue leaves but his heart is still on purple :')
