Harvard commencement speaker blasts university for barring anti-Israel protesters

Shruthi Kumar, the Harvard senior selected to deliver the English address during their commencement ceremony, blasted the Ivy League school for not allowing more than a dozen students to receive their diplomas.
“I am deeply disappointed by the intolerance for freedom of speech and their right to civil disobedience on campus,” she said.
The students had taken part in an anti-Israel campus encampment at the university.
More than 1,000 people then staged a walkout to decry the disqualification of the 13 students, with many chanting “let them walk,” The Harvard Crimson reports.

United States does not support terrorist organizations. Unfortunately, progressives do, due to their lack of knowledge. This country will pay the price one day for supporting these people. "Students," wrong definition of students. The correct definition of a student is a person, self entitled, not responsible for anything, ignorant, and dependent upon others for their support, who do not contribute to anything other than their own self pleasure, and they try to maintain this till their parents money runs out. They maintain their status by voting for anyone or anything that supports their ignorant and hedonistic lifestyle. Until the day they are forced to work. Why in gods name do people turn to students, who by the very definition of student indicates they are the least experienced and most ignorant of worldly affairs, who by the very definition of student, indicates they know nothing????? And now joe biden screws over every taxpayer to give these students even more entitlement and free-stuff at the expense of everyone else???? So why in gods name do you think joe would support helping citizens when that taxpayer cash could go to buying votes from ignorant people so that someone with demonstrable dementia can stay in office.

True! Brilliant speech! She acknowledged the power of not knowing and be willing to learn. That would have certainly helped her fellow Harvard students and graduates (and across the Ivy League) to learn that: - Jews lived in today’s Gaza and surrounding areas (including today’s Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, etc) long before the Arabs settled into those places; - None of these areas were “owned” by any who claim to do so today; just like every breath that we take, all these lands and riches were given to us as human beings; - Just as it’s “hard for the people of color to be targeted against”, it’s hard for the Jews to be targeted against just because of their belief system; - Terrorism anywhere in the world (just as violence on college campuses) is totally unacceptable, even in the garb of “independence struggle” or “freedom of speech” or whatever! I remain hopeful that she along with her cohorts will continue to learn in their life to come, and learn to adapt their outlook and actions to be congruent to those lessons.

The war has also led to one of the largest cholera outbreaks ever recorded, with 2.5 million suspected cases and about 4,000 related deaths since 2016 The conflict has also displaced 4.5 million people, destroyed the country's infrastructure, and left 21 million people in need of humanitarian assistance.
