@@pebs2219 yep! For example, when Haruhi said that Honey~senpai's stuffed toy is cute, Honey~senpai blushed a bit, and his eyes widened... and then, we get a clip of the lightbulbs. One of the lightbulbs turned on... Also, another scene... when the president of the club saw Haruhi in her undergarments, we get another scene of the lightbulbs... the last lightbulb turned on, and since he was the last to discover that Haruhi is a girl, and since now all the lightbulbs are turned on, we get a text saying 'Haruhi's a girl!?!?'

They cover much more of his character in the manga too, not only that he was first for his grade in the exams, he was the one who noticed/helped other members notice their feelings towards Haruhu and helped them, he notices a lot with people around him that even they don’t realise

i think it’s because haruhi used a feminine way of saying that usa-chan was cute. but i do agree that honey’s one of the smartest characters, after kyouya of course.

Kyouya: Knew it because he knows everything. Honey: Haruhi got a little too happy about his cute stuffed animal. Hikaru and Kaoru: She kicked them out of the dressing room. If Haruhi really was a boy, she probably wouldn't have minded other guys watching her undress. Mori: He felt her boobs when he picked her up. That, or he figured Haruhi is too light to be a boy. Tamaki: Literally had to spell it out for him.

I love how Tamaki, the densest one, figured out Haruhi was a girl only after seeing her change, while the others didn't need to see that to know.

Jeez, Kyouya’s a bloody genius for working it out just by the way she behaves in class with no other hints or clues. All the others needed obvious clues or flat out shown or felt. That’s an honour student for yah!

Hmmm....I don't think that's how he figured it out. Based on her odd clothing choice, what year in class the twins belong, you can deduce that it might be the transferred student with a scholarship. He might have already gotten the information that it's a female who recently transferred.

When I first watched this episode I thought the lightbulbs represented the club members getting turned on by Haruhi. And I thought that Kyoya was gay or something. I thought either that or like it meant she had warmed up to them. Lol I’m so dumb.

Kyouya: Already had her on file due to her distinguished academic record which essentially catapulted her to Ouran. Honey: Figured her out the moment she admitted to liking Usa-chan adamantly. Hitachiins: Considered the possibility her request for privacy was gender related. Mori: Physically speaking, a female is drastically different to a male. Tamaki: Walked right into it like the heart-headed moron he is.
