Those Bret headsculpts looks like someone vaguely told the sculptors what Bret kinda looked like and that was the entire point of reference they had.

I was interested in getting this set, but that Bret Hart face sculpt is criminal. 😂

I have a lot of Brett’s, but eager to get The Hart Foundation on my shelf. I was in Tampa when The Hart Foundation won the tag titles on Superstars all those years ago.

This was my very first Coliseum figures I bought directly from Mattel. I like them a lot, they are so cool, Well worth it.

Will pick up but passing on black cards. I’m not going to gamble trying to get multiple. I was very excited for Hart Foundation but that Bret scan is very disappointing as the elite wasn’t bad & thought it would be an easy head scan upgrade. I’m hoping to see Bam Bam, Debiasi , Bossman, Steamboat, Macho, and for tag team Sheik & Volkof.

Love this set. Imma buy 2. 2nd Neidhart will be an all black UE conversion of the E74 Walmart exclusive. I need an all black late 90s UE Neidhart to match the upcoming MNW UE Bret Hart. x_x

This whole line has been great, and this is just icing on the cake. Really hope they keep going on this line.

Are there any tips on getting the black cards? I bought two but both were blue. Id like I set of both

Back in the day I got the elite 43 Bret Hart and I always liked it. I've wanted to pick up that Anvil, but he's pretty expensive. The last time I saw him, the place in MI wanted $80 and I passed on him :p If I was to get this set, I would sell the Elite 43 Bret Hart. This is an upgrade to the old elites no question.

I like how they included both versions of the belts, hopefully they do the sheik soon

Yes this will be a pick up. I think I should have gotten this two pack versus the Bret Hart Ultimate figure.

The head sculpt on Bret is not the greatest. My favourite head sculpt of Bret Hart is the Jakks Classic Bret that I got what must have been nearly 20 years ago now in the mid 2000s. Fun fact, my oldest son is also named Bret after a certain Canadian Hero. When picking names we were not agreeing so the Mrs. said “if you had your way the baby would be named Bret Hart Palmer” with Palmer being my last name of course. Not sure why she thought I had some weird obsession with Bret Hart at the time but since then I was sold on the name Bret. It is a good solid name and it is short which makes it easy to yell quickly which is always nice when they get out of line.

Figures looks good, has that Jakks touchy style on the sculpt but for good!!

Man they need to get some fan face sculpters. Saw someone do a spot on Bret

Didn't need this review to already know I'm getting this set sense I seen it on Mattel. I'm numb to the bad Brett sculpts 😂who cares because everybody crying it doesn't look like him but those same people they're still gonna buy the figures 😂😂😂

I’m definitely getting this set. Something to keep in mind good brothers, there are some Hot Wheels items going on sale the same time as this set goes up. It could take a minute to complete your purchase, just be patient.

Just got my set this week. Not sure how they screwed up the copy on Bret’s bio card. “Native of Alberta, British Columbia”? Alberta and BC are two completely separate Canadian provinces. That part should have written itself…all they needed to do was listen to any Howard Finkel ring introduction. 😂

Neidhart’s card has Mr. Fuji dressed as Neidhart on it.

Not very well

I can't decide which is worse, the Bret likenesses on the Coliseum Ultimate or the likenesses on the Monday Night War Ultimate.

Nice set and I have been buying all the previous ones, but Mattle Creations have stopped shipping internationally. So I guess I'm out of this line as I'm not paying secondary prices.

This is a pass for me, and I'm a big Hart fan. All the other Coliseum Collections came with some kind of soft goods. I was hoping we would finally have their military style jackets from Maia 6 that would set it apart from the Elite version. Or if the chase was actually an all-black painted Foundation.

Unfortunately, when Mattel includes an additional set of belts - which constitutes accessories - they seldom include extra accessories eg. Jackets. But I totally agree with you, this was the chance to give us the jackets and Anvil's hat etc.

Bret looks like Sean Penn here. Decent set. I think it’s a pass for me. The original Elite set is good enough. Probably spend my toy money on RSC Vault figs or MNW ones.

Bruh, these Bret headsculpts are horrendous! Also, Bret was a little bit more stocky back then. Still gonna get the set. But Mattel, please do better

I had really been looking forward to this set. Unfortunately, it looks like I won’t be getting one due to Mattel Creations restricting shipping to the US only. I simply refuse to pay the jacked up prices on the secondary market. I’ve been inching towards getting out of collecting Mattel. Their business decision to make their product even more difficult for me to obtain may be what pushes me out.

Bret keeps getting screwed with these head sculpts.

I dont know, Ive got the elites so im not too excited about these. The Mattel figures are getting very repetitive, too many re-releases and such with little updates its just not worth it.

Yikes. Anvil looks pretty good, but I’m sorry, that Bret is one of the worst I’ve seen so far. Saves me money on this set. Unfortunate because I’d love to have a Classic Hart Foundation in the collection, but that Bret is just awful.

It's utterly horrendous, I agree, but if you really want these, just swap the head with another? That being said, there's not many which you'd even really want to swap it with.

As a wrestling figure collector of 35 years, particularly Bret Hart figures, for me, this is unequivocally the worst Bret head sculpt I've ever seen, and that's saying something.

I’m done with Mattel. It’s bad enough you can’t find any new golden era figures at the stores in Canada (yes I know they’re SUPPOSED to be at toys r us) either in person or online, but now they don’t ship outside the States anymore??? That was the only way we could get these colosseum collections at a decent price. I guess there’s no point in having an account anymore at MC since I can’t ship anything. What an absolute joke! They are only screwing over the honest consumer with all these target exclusives and now no more options for international orders from MC. eBay resellers will list these at double the price. Who can afford that? Really looks bad on their part.

I get where you’re coming from. I’m frustrated as well. I’m a Hart Foundation collector, and I never find stuff on the shelves here…just can’t seem to ever find Bret. I played the long game and got last years’s Target exclusive on EBay at a reasonable price. I’d love to pick up the Monday night wars Bret and Piper, but they’re Walmart exclusives and I’ve never even seen Ultimate Editions on the shelves in my area 🤷‍♂️.

Kyle if I was you i would pass on these sets. Buying them gives mattel money that they don't deserve. Those bret heads are tripe. They have ruined the running collection with this release.

Agree to disagree. Coliseum collection is a favorite of mine as I grew up on the ljn figures. Just worry about your likes and dislikes and let others enjoy what they want to.

I wanted to get all these newer releases, but this hart foundation one has really put a bad taste in my mouth and I feel like it's a waste of money. I prefer quality, rather than quantity. Btw I'm a big bret fan so I hope you understand where I'm coming from on those heads. I agree to disagree with you, we as a collecting community shouldn't be bullied into (by mattell) buying sets to complete a collection that are substandard. Upto this point all the releases were great, this one is a stinker. That's why I feel by buying this in droves only shows mattell that they are doing a great job, when the reality is far from it. Now what I would like is storm toys to get a deal with wwe for Limited releases throughout the year. That would be worth collecting. Keep up the good work bro you are a good man
