Even Discrimination won’t happen directly towards the students. On students Side - First its starts with asking ranks by the students. And after that people will easily find your category. Then on other side Faculty discrimination, here also discrimination won’t happen directly, but it will reflected on your marks and even sometimes you fail or they give high pressure on yourself and sometime they target you for unnecessary things. So Now all these makes to lose someone self-esteem. So obviously students will enter into dark side. So what I was suggesting is, don’t afraid of these things, Be mentally and physically strong, don’t loss courage even the worst happens, just face it and don’t choose a childish decision to fall into depression. If some one ask you rank, then just say “Its enough to get in”. The Reasons why I was wrote these many lines is, don’t give-up on yourself from the dream of study in an IIT.

I'm strong enough to handle all such discriminations and stuffs singlehandedly honestly....And I'm also sure not everyone can be like me. On the other hand my only weakness is my parents. Even if ppl swear them, I don't get offended. If I got to go to a hostel and live apart from them, That shatters me. Luckily did my schooling, Bachelors (3yrs done) in my own place. Planning for masters in IITM as chennai is the place I live. "Nothing can stop me" is the only attitude needed

Guys, merit is an attitude, and you must show this attitude in all aspects, whether it be academics, socio-cultural activities, or humanities. Empathize before you conclude anything. Only those infected will show discrimination because it's a social disorder and disease. We have to build an ecosystem where everyone gets an opportunity and is shown a way to lead a good life. Forget and forgive those who are sick; just move on because you have many responsibilities in life. Don't waste time thinking about people who are sick and infected. Focus, face challenges, and take them as opportunities to prove that you are not inferior to anyone. Getting an IIT seat is only the beginning. Focus on your goals and the path to achieve them. Don't get distracted by useless discussions; answer with your achievements despite socio-cultural and financial limitations. Students discuss on the disrruptive solutions, rather struck with words. Find a way to end the discrimination and poverty, things will automatically settle in the society. Being this generation students, focus on buliding harmonic society and hold progressive thoughts. Well, I completed my btech in aerospace engineering and secured a job in Capgemini in aerospace domain , and I also qualified gate and got a seat for my Mtech in IITH. Doing mtech or going for job depends on individuals purpose. But doing mtech from reputed colleges like IITs is the best option.If u prefer doing mtech in other universities or colleges...it's better to opt job.

Only worthy and deserving students should be given seats and one doesn't become worthy untill he excells in the exams.
