I am getting an ADHD diagnosis (which isn't the same as autism ofc, but similair) and they've specificly told me that at least 1 of my parents should be present for exactly this reason. Sometimes you just don't notice stuff you do

Yeah that would be interesting to see if it's different, because we don't allways view our selves in the same way others do. Not that this would be official diagnosis at all, but it would be interesting if any professionals on autism, who watch them (it's possible as they have millions of subs+ people who watch bit are not subbed) and could react, of course I do acknowledge they wouldn't know how he acts off camera .

I absolutely love that Harry embraces the fact he is/might be autistic. In the beginning it came across(to me) as abit of an insult towards him. It comes across now like he doesnt care. Obviously we will never know if hes been officially diagnosed, nor do we need to know. But its great to see his positive attitude towards it!

I definitely think the stigma around it has lessened which has led to more people seeking a diagnosis. Was one of my reasons, was once an insult and then became something to consider because the stigma wasn’t as prevalent y’know

LOL The editor putting visual commentary on some of what Harry was saying was hilarious and kept me laughing the whole time. It was fun to hear Harry's verbal thought process and rationale about his choices. Very fun video & Harry centered content!

Harry needs the guys around him when he takes this test, because he definitely doesn’t realize how much he does certain things. He keeps saying “I do it, but not that much,” and what’s not much to him, could be a lot to other people, so he ends up picking the wrong answer

Also it's a nuanced thing . Like there are obviously traits to make a diagnosis and a term, but often autism means x (like if your an introvert or have social anxiety) can be wrong or is not completely true/needed. Like it can be harder to diagnose In girls or those who mask well In public.🤷‍♀️ Not saying he is or isn't but it would take more test to determine. But I'm no exspert , do feel free to correct me if you know more and I'm wrong, just a thought.

I know right! I dont think he realises that it's the little routines that actually matter the most, its not about having a super super structured daily routine, I think it's more accurate to call them little rituals, like before I go bed I have to watch certain kinds of video's or do specific things and if I cant, I just stay up until I can't sleep anymore. Recently moved and all of my little rituals have been thrown into chaos and its driving me nuts.

Think of why u have it. Because my granny explained in survival /pre agriculture we would usally have an advantage because our ancestors would look through the trees at night looking for a predator and because we can be sort of hyperfocused on different moving things we have a better chance of survival especially at night. 😂

ADHD and ASD overlap quite a lot, he probably has AuDHD and you can’t diagnose that from an online test because it conflicts ridiculously - he’d have to go to a psychiatrist to get diagnosed
