I was laughing so hard at the beginning of the video! At his cheekiness and silly jokes with the audience. And then the song started and BAM! nonstop sobbing.

Love at the end he's holding the mic like he's making a fist. Then raises his thumb like he and Lou would do when they fist bumped. That song might possibly be about Zayn but Lou is in the song too, IMO. It's a very emotional song and I cry everytime I hear it.
