great tutorial. I suggest to adjust the last frame of the puppet tool form so it looks similar to the actors appearance which makes an even smoother transition. also I like to throw in some kind of distortion effect p.e ripple. It really helps to sell effect.

my masking has a problem, the character does not get masked properly. If I mask the character the background become black, and even after hitting solo or see option my mask character does not just get masked in the environment
