Just when I think an advent calendar is fantastic, another one pops up. Both are very unique, but I loved the pop up one. The cards are amazing, and I have purchased several. This series is one of my favorites.

The Lovepop calendar is just precious! Not sure I'd get the hot chocolate one if it's not actual hot chocolate, but it's a cute idea! It would be better if they had different flavored hot chocolate (regular, marshmallow, mint, etc.) and stuck the colored ones in at random.

I don’t know which part was more fun. The opening or the trying to figure out if they were flavored 🤣. And Gryffindor Green.

Lovely video! This was exactly what I needed today. My sisters and I followed your advice and made hot cocoa to drink while we watched the video together. It definitely made the experience a lot more cozy and ✨magical✨

Last Christmas my aunt got me Harry Potter color changing hot chocolate. It wasn’t an advent calendar. It was a brown box that looks like a wizarding suitcase with 8 boxes inside (2 for each house) and a wand (Harry Potter) for stirring. The powders are all white but change color with hot water. I love how they change color to each house color (red, yellow, blue and green). They were all the same regular flavor. They could have made each house a different flavor.

I have a cold, and when you suggested hot cocoa I paused the video to do just that. It's exactly what I needed! Thanks, Peter.

The Love Pop advent calendar has been my favorite so far! Enjoying the 12 days!

What stands out to me this whole week is everything is positive and has a positive spin - I appreciate this!

I love both advent calendars. I love the 3-D effect of the objects and characters.

going to watch the last two days to be sure but I think the Hot Cocoa Calendar might be the one I get this year! I love cocoa and the color change to house colors just adds the extra bit of magic to it perfect for the holiday season. I also like how that calendar is easy to share the treats with people who are non HP fans.

Really enjoyed the popup calendar. Very cute artwork. I feel the hot cocoa calendar could have done a few more colours but still a very different idea.

If it was me. I would open that 12 days of drink powder one, put them all together in a bowl and mix them up so you cant tell what is what and then dare my dreams to try the " sorting bowl" to see what house they get :D I am a dedicated Hufflepuff myself but still think it would be a load of fun for a party type thing or gathering. Awesome video showing off both calendars.

Love the Love pop calendar, but I prefer my hot chocolate to taste like chocolate! Thank you Peter for sharing. I purchased the Scholastic Advent calendar for my Granddaughter after seeing you open it. Shes going to love it. All the best from Missouri.

In stead instead of opening these during advent, you could keep the presents going for the twelve days of Christmas and do one each day of Christmas, which really starts on Christmas and goes to Epiphany (12 days later).

This was fun! Isn't it so interesting how when we know how something tastes in our brain like hot chocolate, when it's colored differently our brain makes it hard to process the taste.

The Coca one is so weird lol I am proud you kept taste sampled the cherry 🍒 haha - I like the paper one very cute! I love that teapot btw!

The Lovepop calendar is adorable, but I think Dumbledore should've been drawn with Fawkes instead of the wand. Writing this I remembered how he explained the rebirth concept to Harry and I can hear in my head his kind voice as he did that. 🥺

Maybe there is milk powder in it so you can use it with hot water.

I LOVED the video, as usual, but those things I probably wouldn't purchase for my own collection. But, something my man DID purchase for me was the Keep Collecting Box 3!!!!! And I recently got an email telling me that they're shipping the boxes either today or Monday!!!!!! SQUEE!!!!!! I'm SO EXCITED!!!!! This is my 1st EVER subscription box that I've EVER RECEIVED!!!!! This was a fun calendar

For kiddos these would be fun daily activity calendars. The hot chocolate one is more of a color changing hot beverage calendar, and I would be disappointed to start opening it and it not actually having some that were like regular hot chocolate.

Loved the paper one but those drinks looked ugh ❤they could have had pink for Luna love good

The cocoa calendar is pretty lackluster after the first four days, sadly. They had a fun idea with the color change and wand stirrer, for sure. But I think it could have benefited from having different flavors (peppermint, caramel, coconut, dark chocolate, raspberry, etc) rather than the same repeating ones over and over. Or maybe they could have put the cocoa in some themed reusable containers instead of throwaway bags, so there would be a more collectible, magical element to it (as it is, the only thing you actually keep from that calendar is a single wand stir stick after the cocoa is gone). Or maybe they could have added other things like the stir stick; like perhaps day one is Harry's wand, day two is the first color cocoa, day three is someone else's wand, then another cocoa, etc. Maybe add a little spoon or two? Perhaps make day 12 a mug or something?

Love relaxing after work watching your vids.

I was going to buy the hot chocolate calendar im glad I watched this first, I wish they were actually hot coco and different flavors like mint, caramel, hazelnut ect. I did like the colour change but only have 3x not the calendar repeated in each door

I loved the Pop Up calendar, so clever and well made! As a cocoa purist, the other one didn't appeal, and the repetition on an already shortened calendar was disappointing creativity wise.

I'm a fake HP fan (here for the unboxings 😅) but if that hot chocolate calendar is available here, I might pick it up. I don't like regular chocolate so that seems like an exciting thing to try...

I like the idea of the hot chocolate, but not the ingredients, some of which are banned in the UK. A shame they cant make it without quite a few worrying chemicals.

I bet all the hot chocolate tastes the same. It’s the same way that all skittles taste the same but our brains fill in the flavors based on colors

I like cherry it’s just my opinion I like all types of cherry stuff cherry slushy’s, cherry fruit and cherry candy. It’s just my opinion because it taste really good to me.

All the ingredients of the Hot "Chocolate" (in quotes cuz there's no actual chocolate in them) are exactly the same except for what colour food dye is in them. The box doesn't actually say what the flavours are.

I love the Love Pop calendar. The characters are so adorable. There could be so many choices and themed calendars, much like the Cinereplica calendars. The hot chocolate one was interesting to begin with, but to just repeat the 4 is disappointing. They could have had a dark brown for the death eaters, an orange for the burrow, etc. 8 other Colorado would have been more fun. Cute idea, just not very well executed, IMO.

I've really enjoyed all of your HP Advent days...this is the only one that was eh for me. The cards are cute, but the hot chocolate one was a big miss. Keep up the fun videos. 😊

I think they are including Christmas Day in their countdown. Not ending on Christmas Eve like a typical 24 day advent calendar.

Color changing hot chocolate does not contain any cocoa. It is primarily sugar, thickener, and 'coffee' creamer (which is mostly palm oil). For any American reading this comment, the 'hot chocolate' is just a powdered version of CoffeeMate that you are rehydrating with hot water. Drinks that contain actual chocolate to them are called "cocoa mixes" legally by our government. This is similar how we have packaging that defines "ice cream" versus "frozen dairy dessert".
