I'm not through the video yet, but Migraine Jen's happiness saying Not Migraine Jen doesn't get caught makes me happy as the devil! I love her smile, she knows "both of you". Btw, allowing ads to play so you actually get moolah for your channel being monetized. Going to do my part, I love watching your channel even though I'm filled with sadness for the migraines and how you're affected each day.

I couldn't laugh at Migraine Jen, especially at the beginning. I know that frustration with being so confused. I've got fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, that makes the brain fog and confusion so cry-inducing. And Migraine Me... OMG it's so much worse.

I love your videos and your content, your whole personality and everything. But I have to say this: I don't like the fact that you're talking about "migraine Jane" as you would talk about an altar in a DID system. It's still you and not another altar. Nothing changes except you're feeling different and having pain, not able to think as differentiated or whatever. It's not another altar so please stop talking like that... Triggers me sorry. Not meaning to critizise you in a negative way or anything, only wanted to tell you that some people may be not so okay with you talking like that and even taking tests with both "personalities" and all that. You're even acting as if it was indeed an altar by saying "she told me so" and stuff. Why? It's you! You're ONE person! Love you sorry. 💜

I love migraine Jen!! ♥️ As an epileptic, I relate so much to her when I'm coming out of my seizures- hours of confusion and trying so hard to even think. Definitely have made my family laugh, and me when hearing about it later. 😁 love that migraine Jen knew she had followers. 😆♥️

"Migraine Jen doesn't get in trouble, and Not Migraine Jen doesn't get caught." 😂This has got to be one of your best quotes ever! Migraine Jen is also very wise she realizes it's okay to not be okay, that there's nothing to be ashamed of or frustrated about her disability, and touches on the social model of disability which states that the disability isn't a deficit in the person that needs to be fixed, but rather an inaccessible society that needs to change to allow that person to be all they can be.

When talking about friends, your true friends would understand that you are not ignoring them but truly have trouble remembering stuff! Also, it is definitely hard, as someone with chronic illness, to make new friends. Some may not understand the last minute cancellations because of not feeling well. I’m only a little over a year since my health went down hill so Covid came around right after it started for me. 🙃.

Migraine Jen is adorable and her sense of humor is wicked. It was astonishing to see the transition of how much better the reading got about halfway through the interview. You do a great and important job, providing information about such an omnipresent topic that is nevertheless underrepresented in research. Despite Migraine Jen not wanting to meet new people, I think anyone would be honoured to be yours. You're an awesome person and never let anyone tell you differently if you have to make difficult decisions due to illness and limited amounts of time/strength.

I am "lucky" as a migraine sufferer because my father had migraines before mine started, so I had some idea of what they were. Although it was many years later before seeing a neurologist about them. My daughters and son have migraines also. My son suffers from a constant migraine that caused him to lose his job and postpone going back to university for his higher degrees. His migraines became worse after seeking treatment for them. He tried 3 medications to treat them but lost his job and insurance so everything stopped.

Hi Jen - I recently discovered your channel. I’m a migraineur myself, though it’s only about 8 a month. I’m also recovering from Covid as a long hauler. It’s interesting how people are so confused by the brain fog when we deal with it on a regular basis. With any hope, the wide spread experience with Covid brain fog will increase understanding for migraine brain fog and cognitive changes. A small silver lining.

I just had a thought, but don’t know if it’s helpful.... Have you ever considered seeing a Pain Psychologist? Not because you need that kind of therapy exactly, but maybe they’d be good at helping you troubleshoot some of you issues? I see mine every week & I can’t begin to tell you how relieved I feel to know that someone “gets” me, & that my pain symptoms are definitely real, I still have value, and he offers solutions as well as helping me understand my “stuff”. Anyway, just a thought.... Give Migraine Jen & Not Migraine Jen a hug from me! You both deserve it!!!

Here's a tip for migraine Jen that's helped me out a bit...Moving ads on the side of the screen bother me too when I have migraines and even when I don't. I like to tape a piece of toilet paper to the side of my screen. It's white so naturally doesn't grab my attention but, should something important come up in that area of the screen I can still sorta see it and can temporarily flip up the TP to read it then put it back. If Migraine Jen tries this, let me know how it works :) Side note: Laughed so hard when Migraine Jen was like "If I open the computer I'll be able to see better". Or whatever your exact words were...so relatable!

Hi Jen, I took a deep dive into your vids so I could find out my "house". At the moment my current symptoms are ear pressure, sensitivity to sound and a new super fun one: my right pupil has been getting more dilated than my left. I am seeing a cardiologist on the 20th because I was Drop. Dead. Exhausted. for 10 days after prepping for Thanksgiving. I don't mean tired... I mean it hurt to get out of bed from how exhausted I was. AND! Getting a comprehensive physical January 6th!! Sorry that was super long. I'm just excited to finally start figuring this stuff out.

Although I dont have aura, I feel like two different people as well. When I dont have migraine, Im very cheerful, active, I speak a lot, I got endless amounts of energy. Having migraine, even after the pain stops, Im completely dizzy, weak, I got aphasia, speaking is painful, I can forget words I said 5, seconds earlier, I got problems with coordination, Im extremally naseous and avoid leaving my bed. My neurologist charged extra scans to make sure everythings fine. Im having MRI in over a week in the first order.

I have vowed never to presume to advise women concerning jewelry. Trust me, this works to the advantage of women. I'm clueless. Discretion also urges me to silence in the matter of astrology, as my views on this subject are invariably regarded as uncouth, or even cancerous, by its adherents. I enjoy adult fantasy books. I'm a fan of 'The Princess Bride' (hilarious). I have spent many an hour delving into dungeons (pen-and-paper) and playing fantasy games (Elder Scrolls, particularly). But I have never read any Harry Potter books. I have the impression that the books aim for the attention of sub-adults - though of course sub-adults, having enjoyed the books, will still like them as adults, and I raise no objection to their enthusiasms. Life has miseries enough; find joy where you can. And so I really can't follow the excruciatingly detailed categorizations which are plumbed in this Buzzfeed quiz. But I had no difficulty following the contrast between Not-Migraine-Jen's personality and Migraine-Jen's. Migraine-Jen is indeed seriously disabled. But she has strengths worth remarking on, too. Despite the pain and unpleasant symptoms, she is determined to enjoy, to strive, to accomplish and to be kind. I will sum up this way: she is courageous. Very, very courageous. I am impressed. Not-Migraine-Jen is courageous, too. She teaches us, but at a cost - it can't be easy to expose her vulnerabilities to all and sundry. Many truths came out in this video, but one in particular strikes me as worth highlighting. Both versions of Jen are, indeed, not boring. :-)

I feel like Jen and Migraine Jen are still super similar. A lot of your sassy answers were on par! Like the wand question and joining the ministry question xD I feel like because Migraine Jen has so many strict rules that’s why she’s become a Hufflepuff. Mostly safety reasons. It’s not a bad thing, of course, but she’s had to force herself to become a Hufflepuff. Of course, I only feel this way because of what I have seen and I know I have not seen Migraine Jen and Jen a lot in person. That being said I know I don’t see everything, I don’t know everything, and you are the expert because it is you :) I’m sorry to hear you feel you are losing your personality and that you are not sure of who you are, at the core. That sounds like its a big internal struggle. I hear that you feel Migraine Jen is timid and not confident. That is true, she is very cautious. I do feel Migraine Jen is very confident in the sense that she is sharing with us and she knows what she wants. Like she wants a nap - she’ll take a nap. She wants Tacos - she gonna make tacos. She wants to build furniture, she gonna do it! Also in the Taco video (I believe) she was like “I’m doing it this way and it’s fine and I don’t care what anyone says” Also the part where she’s like “Migraine Jen is not boring! I have hella subscribers”
