I think if they were to make a project sometime based on the Japanese wizarding school of Mahoutokoro, they could turn it into an anime series. Plus, considering the huge hit that the HP series is having on streaming there in Japan

JK Rowling should let Studio Ghibli make 200 or more 30 minute episodes of Harry Potter series. complete and unabridged version.

Honestly, both visually and thematically, this has the potential of being my favourite childhood movie series in another universe.

Gonna have to differ. Snape did not have a "good" heart. He was an insecure jerk who only changed sides when his childhood crush was in danger. He had a secret care for Harry buried in there somewhere, but that was more because he was lily's son. He was a bit of a tragic character in some respects but still an ass.

I love Harry Potter as anime from Studio Ghibli. The design is incredible. The story has a potencial as a serie. Hermione is excellent and Snape transmit his real personality. Great job! Thanks for share this cut. PD: There isn't Harry's mark in his front.

If we can do scenes like this, we could theoretically feed the AI every frame of every movie and generate all the images, while we approve each frame/another AI checks for accuracy, until the movies are completely remade in the new art styles. As AI art gets better, things like that could just be a random request given to a machine and have it generated by lunch, or even more advanced, in real time.

well there is actually a way, which is not perfected yet. We can use stable diffusion, and you can make the entire movie in 2d. But you need to feed the neural networks tons of materials for it to self learn. You can check corridor crew as they made a Spiderverse scene from live action spiderman

Harry go the chosen one look. Ron and Hermione are adorable (although Hermione with ribbon looks too similar to Kiki). Draco got the actual rival look. Luna is a goddamn fairy princess or something. Albus and Minerva got the super-wise sages look. Rubeus is always the gentle giant that he was in the movies. Tom looks like he used a staff instead of a wand, and sat on some dark, spiky throne on the top of some dark, spiky tower. Severus looks like a foreign prince, disguising as a regular person (and he looks like he had a gun under his robe). Remus is bloody handsome. Bellatrix looks like she had actual tragic reasons to be evil, instead of being crazy 24/7. Lucius looks like he had a dark spiky armor with dark flowing cape, a dark blade, and a dragon that he rode to battle. Molly looks like Mrs. Doubtfire. Horace looks like he sells insurance for a living.

For some reasons it works pretty well. Only add some corrections (like Harry's eyes colours and his scar) - and here we go! Especially I adore Hermione - she literally looks like she came from Studio Ghibl movie. Not mention she fits "Miyazaki's girl" type perfectly.

AI will allow to create tons of productions in seconds. And more (or too much) means less interesting and less originality and creativity. And it is funny because it's exactly the opposite approach to that of studio ghibli.

@@AlexanderPR2 hell, I now feel for 3d artists, even though the problem I ever had with 3d is its perfect perspective. (Ghibli and a lot of anime has impeccable sense of visual perspective, but most of the older stuff was made by hand, so there's still tiny screwups in the accuracy that add to the overall feel, adds more humanness and frailty to it)
