Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Game - Full OST

Музыка

This is the amazing music from the first Harry Potter video game! I've taken screenshots of the places where you hear the songs in-game (in the PC version, anyway), and arranged the music in that order.
Fun fact: Did you know when Jeremy Soule composed this soundtrack, he had never even heard John Williams' music for the movie?

This is one of the most wholesome comment sections I've ever seen. I always felt so alone loving this game as much as I do. No one else at school did. It's such a good feeling, almost a relief, to discover that so many other people had the same childhood experiences as I did. Being terrified of Filch and the Bloody Baron, being taught how to climb by Fred and George etc, and this was always there in the background. It's heartwarming. And it's good to know I'm not alone :)

I just replayed this game today after finally figuring out how to get it to work on Windows 10.When I got to Filch, my heart was racing the whole time. It brought back all the memories of being a kid when I got nightmares. As if he's not already a creepy dude, the bad animation makes him just terrifying... and when he comes out of nowhere around the corner.... This game is so nostalgic.

I want to make some kind of comment on the music itself, but I don't really even know what to say. This soundtrack is a piece of my soul. Hell, this whole game is a piece of my soul. This was my first "proper" video game, one that wasn't there primarily as an educational tool. It was a whole new world, one in which I died if I made mistakes or miscalculated my jumps or got hit too many times. Pretty much every new level had something in it to scare me... but I loved it.

I know it's strange to admit that a videogame is part of your soul - but I feel the same way. The early Harry Potter games, with their innumerable "secret areas" and epic soundtracks, imbued within me a deep love for exploration and adventuring that continues to this day. They probably had as much of a profound impact on my childhood as the books - and that's saying something.

My childhood! ♥ As a five year old, playing this was a magical experience, almost as if I was really at Hogwarts. I still remember spending hours just walking around trying to find secret spots and getting scared beyond belief by Filch or the Bloody Baron. God, I miss those times ...

I always wondered why Skyrim's OST reminded me so much of the HP PS1's games... now I know! Fantastic

I actually came to this video to see how similar they actually were. I was thinking of learning how to do simple modding to add "Hogwarts Neutral" as one of the regular soundtracks that plays while walking around for people that have played this game .

24:50 I remember having a hard time getting all the rings when I first played this game somewhere in 2001/2002. When I installed this game again a year or 2 ago it was so easy to get everything and the hidden card. This game and the chamber of secrets are the ones I played most in my childhood. Good memories!

Has it really been 18 years? That's a lifetime away but a part of me remembers playing this. I can not fully go back to that time though, at least not consciously. It's kind of sad that we forget how it feels to be a child when we grow up.

This is one of my favourite games of my childhood. I used to play it on my uncle's computer when I was a kid. We played it together and always laughed at funny moments with gnomes. He loved the music of this game so much. My uncle passed away two years ago and here I am , still listening to this to bring back my memories.

Fantastic upload, with the pics and timestamps and all! Great and sadly obscure soundtrack, from a huge composer too.

Yes, Jeremy Soule may be a subject of controversy today, but that doesn't change the fact that his work was nothing short of outstanding.
