Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets PC Extended Mod - Part 4
Walkthrough of the recently concluded HP2 PC Extended Mod, showcasing most of the changes introduced. The majority of these changes are custom and they probably don't represent the original developers' vision.
NOTE: Some things in the current mod version may differ from what is shown in the video.

This mod requires the latest version of the "Metallicafan212's Harry Potter 2 Engine & Editor" to run. Gameplay was recorded at 1920x1080 resolution, borderless fullscreen, DX9 Renderer, and VSync enabled (60 fps).
The M212 HP2 Engine/Editor not only ships with a fully-fledged editor for the game, but provides support for DirectX 11 rendering, 64-bit, (ultra) widescreen resolutions, borderless window, horizontal+ FOV, uncapped framerate, X360 controller, and more. The New Engine/Editor will keep your game's language.
The Extended Mod is fully localized in the following languages: English UK (INT) and USA, Danish, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Portugal), and Spanish. Text translations available in Polish, Russian and Ukrainian.

Timestamps of the changes: Entry Hall Hub 00:50 - Colin Creevey can be found in the Common Room after classes 01:30 - Slightly tweaked the lighting in the hallway Grand Staircase Hub 02:23 - Lockhart can be found in his classroom admiring his self-portraits 03:28 - Slightly moved the books so that it's a bit easier to climb on the ledge 03:39 - Books with custom-made covers from the movie as an easter egg Library 05:32 - Hermione can be found at the library after classes (when she's not brewing the Polyjuice Potion) 06:50 - The "Lockhart Shrine" (as someone called it) is a not-so-hidden room connecting the two demo levels. Demo 1 (left door) is accessible after Spongify, Demo 2 (right door) after Rictusempra Demo 2 07:15 - Start of Demo 2 07:34 - Tutorials have been removed 07:39 - Added an archway texture above the locked door 08:30 - Wizard Cards have been replaced with Challenge Stars 08:38 - Fixed the timing of the door opening 08:51 - The room is now at the same level as the carpet (yep, it wasn't the opposite as I thought) 09:07 - Addressed the ambient glow of the large bushes (they were much darker in the original level) 10:17 - Added a sound effect when the trapdoors open 11:25 - Removed the seams in the skybox

HP1 already got it's own restore/expanded version (HP1 E3 mod) while HP3 will probably be the next on the list to get an expanded version with some restored content
Will do you show what will happened if Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff win too? Did you change it too? (If I remember correctly the audios where there, for the final to the House Point Cup I am sure)

As the way the game is scripted, it's impossible for either Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff to win the House Cup without cheats

I tried to install the mod, but I'm way too stupid for the 15 page long instructions. A video tutorial for stupid would be really really nice c':

Not all the 15 pages are about instructions :) there's a link to a video tutorial in there btw
So much times was in the library but never beated Demo 1 😅😅😅
...and this is the way how you can extend your housepoints over the second placed house to make the bonus bean room time get extended as well. Jesus Christ.
