...Whoa. Usually I do think the conclusions of things are anticlimactic or disappointing, but this seemed to be the perfect ending to it all. I would like to see this be an original story, honestly, because I feel it more than stands out on its own. It was really nice seeing everyone on the path to rebuilding their lives, optimistic, but still knowing realistically that they still have their issues to solve. I really enjoy your serious writing. It just feels like it encapsulates these feelings perfectly. And the quirky bits like Turbine Simulator being a part of it only make it better. [And Devilbags. I like to think that later on, it becomes an affectionate nickname for James that he himself takes pride in.] Also, the repetition from the story's nonsensical beginnings really helped wrap things up nicely, and make it all feel cohesive and connected. All of these randomly generated shenanigans did have some purpose after all. They just needed a deft hand to weave them to meaning. I'm wondering about the nature of Mavis/Harry's relationship at the end of it all, as well as her and Jules, but I think I like that sort of ambiguity. It just feels weirdly realistic.

The "are you winning son" aside, that scene between James and Harry actually made me more emotional than Albus and Harry in the Cursed Child.

I honestly love how you tied all the inanity together in a coherent manner. What a wild ride.
