Listen back on the bar about the sub four minute mile. Bend you over the bannister. Roger Bannister was the first person to break the four minute mile. That’s deep.

I know you guys kept saying Hov but this is Nas and Em's love child here. This sounded like infinite eminem. The break before the second verse is straight from the slim shady lp. Crazy that his pen game is basically starting here.

Yes he went in on this one. He has a bad habit of underestimating himself. Staying with the humble vibes and inspirational flows, is though amazing, kinda not too different from the 100+ hours of what we're used to. Why I like rap Coltrane more than soulliquies

Harry has been writing songs since he was in middle school. His catalog is DEEP. He's been putting out albums since he was in high school, and he's done verses with a ton of other groups. On Spotify alone, he has over 100 freestyles (from Omegle Bars), a written album, some EPs, and he's featured on songs by other groups. His most recent work is probably his best, but he has dope material going back over 15 years.

Which album was written??You mean the one that came out this year ?? Far as I know, his EPs are freestyled

  • @jasonerickson1753

@@cg219 He was part of a crew called State of Mind while he was in high school, and they released at least 2 albums, all of that was written. His "Contents Under Pressure" solo album from 2019 was all written. He's quietly released a few singles that were mostly written, not freestyled. He has used several different approaches to create his EPs. For example, in the "Soulilloquies" videos, there is text saying which approach he used for each track. Many of the featured verses he's done for songs by other artists were freestyled off-the-dome, but possibly not all of them. I hope to see him in person again this year, and maybe I'll get a chance to ask him about some of this.

  • @caluproduction6434

Lil late to the party, but I feel that most white rappers (just as I still do and try to avoid) it's to try and imitate Em or some other rapper that's popping instead of just taking inspiration from more places and combine them in smth that works for them. Inspiration is the key to successful art making, whilst imitation is the path to the soulless and mindless art regurgitating. At least, in my opinion, might be wrong tho.
