Yeah this is lowkey and people don't realize what Hmack is doing rn, but the man is CARVING A PATH for monetizing freestyle. Something in hip hop history was seen as a dead cause, and to only do free's as a hobby because it doesn't put food on the table. Harry Mack has been writing, freestyling, and recording tracks since he was in middle school. He's been part of several groups and has done a bunch of features with other artists. He's released several albums of both written material and off-the-dome freestyles, plus several EPs and a number of singles. The man's catalog is much deeper than most people know. It was awesome to see Ice Cube saying, "That was the Truth!" as soon as Harry finished, a comment that most of the people in the room didn't seem to hear at the time. Tech Nine also said, "Harry Mack is the Truth!" and made it clear he was already a fan of HM when he was a guest of Black Pegasus and asked to react to some HM videos.

If you aren't having people give you random words or you aren't rapping about your current surroundings, then you are NOT freestyling. There isn't anyone you can compare to Mack. Looks like the Jazz references went over yalls head :D Well, he used the word "bebop" pretty slick. Its the name of the warthog (one of the 6 words he had to hit) from turtles but is also the name of a specific genre off jazz music. Afterwords he referred to some jazz legens like Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie.

I used to play this game with a friend of mine who was a rapper in training at the time, he would just freestyle and we would throw random words at him and he would have to incorporate the word in the next two lines at least This brought back memories 😅❤
