I had never seen harry so melancholy and pensive until after Z left and damn sure never heard him say anything bad about anyone until Z left then all of a sudden EVERYTHING ANNOYS HIM. HE IS GETTING SMART WITH INTERVIEWERS and making smart comments about Z . It's kinda sad.

That's true... I think when zayn was in 1D Harry was really happy and had like more energy and enjoyed being with the lads but when zayn left the band harry was quite in interviews and seemed sad and was more alone than with the other lads. I just hope that he wasn't sad everytime they were together (sorry if my english isn't that good🙂)

crazy thing is if u see most of their vids they both have the lil love for eachother becuz harry started doing it to zayn first when no one would pay attnetion to him. sometimes hed give him a high five fist bump or even mouth "i heard u"

Im glad people started noticing things.. Harry became soo much different after Zayn left.. Just imagine technically the band functioned only 5 months after Zayn left.. Wow🙄🙄🙄

Zayn was the only one honestly who stood up for harry,listened to harry, respected him while he talked, didn't talk over him, and comforted him. That's one of the zillion reasons why I love zayn.

The only one?? So others didn’t stand up for Harry, didn’t listen to him, didn’t respect him, didn’t comfort him?? ZAyn was a very quiet person, how is he supposed to talk Over Harry when he doesn’t talk at all. Did you ever watch their interviews of 2010-2013?? Zayn was the talk-active, talking over everyone, making funny jokes and side comments. He became quiet after management decided to paint him as the quiet and mysterious one. He even complained about it, How he was a very goofy child and management shut that part of him. The only person who doesn’t talk over Harry is NIALL Horan . And that’s why he and Harry are always the ones paired up for interviews and that’s why Harry and niall always says they loves doing interviews together. Not trying to bash zAyn but he isn’t the only angel in the group. They all stood up for Harry and respected him. I know how many times Louis had to shut up some interviewers if they said anything annoying to Harry. He has even shut up his own band mates (Liam) if they say something offensive to Harry. Or the way Niall always change some questions that are thrown at Harry that are unpleasant and offensive to answer to. Or how Liam would have to take the fall and avert the question to himself if Harry is being asked questions about his sexuality. There was an interview where an Interviewer showed Harry a magazine of him and Louis kissing and asked him if he and Louis are dating. Liam quickly stepped in and said that the only romantic relationship in the group is himself and Niall relationship and Niall quickly agreed without flinching or thinking twice just to protect Harry and take him out of that uncomfortable situation. They all support and stand up for each other when any of them is put in an awkward position.

Let me give you guys a different perspective for the ones who are saying "well if he hated being in the band he wouldn't be singing the songs". Do you really think that Harry would flat out leave the band right after Zayn left? Harry can enjoy the songs, the crowd, and performing but that doesn't mean he ALWAYS enjoyed it. Look at all the interviews after Zayn left, he looked like he was so done with the whole thing. In his solo interviews how he is always saying he loved it, he enjoyed it, it was a great time but never like the other boys who say they are ready for a reunion and what not. Harry is never gonna be flat out honest like Zayn was bc we all saw how the fandom treated Zayn for being honest not wanting to be in the band. Harry would rather give us the answers that we want so no ones feelings would be hurt. That's all I'm saying.

Thank You! Someone said it. Zayn told the truth and people got butt hurt, wishing him harm and for his career to crumble and fall. They think that what he said was unforgiving but, it was the truth. Meanwhile, Harry seen that backlash and said freak that! let me tell them what they want to hear and not how I really feel. Harry is not going to say yeah, I wanted to leave too and that I hated it. They both wanted to leave point blink period it's just that Zayn beat him to it. Also, the whole shipping thing is part of the reason why they fell apart. Harry was not involved with any of his band members. Let's be real, at this point he screwed the whole band. This man can stand by a water holes and folks will say he in a relationship with it. He could stand by a random person and the headlines would read who's the mystery person next to Harry? They are getting flirty, but in reality... he's just standing there.

@@donnafreeman1571 you are absolutely right that shipping thing the fandom does sucks man i really hate it i don't really think any of them are secretly dating or whatsoever and i noticed too how harry was not enjoying any of the interviews like how he did back in the days even now he never mentions the band or speak about reuniting again. I honestly feel like he wants nothing to do with the band anymore cuz he's loving what he's doing all the "rock and roll" stuff and the happiness is clearly seen on his face.

I love the boys but the reason why Harry connected with zayn more sometimes was cause he payed attention in interviews and he wasn't all over the place. Sometimes when you have loud and funny group of friends you don't wanna be 100% messing around all the time cause it can get annoying. Harry has zayn for that quitness

Zayn definitely bridged some kind of gap between Harry and the rest of the boys and by this I don't mean Harry didn't get along or didn't like the other guys but when he was down or aloof Zayn was the one who made efforts to rope Harry in with the rest of them....Even in their concerts many times Zayn pulls H near the rest of the boys. I have seen a clip where they have just finished their show and the boys are leaving from the left side except H, he is going towards the right and Zee puts his hand over Harry's shoulder and pulls him to the left exit....

Ashlee Styles you also need to remember that Harry and Lou werent even supposed to stand or sit next to each other per management due to the whole Larry thing but youll see that in the last couple years they started getting closer again and after zayn left they started sitting and standing together again. But as for that lil gap that Harry left, that was forcibly drilled into him from management that he did it almost instinctively without thinking about it or being told. He wasnt allowed to get too close. None of the other boys ever had a gap between them. If you watch earlier vids Harry & Lou sat on each other were always connected always next to each other until management got involved. Were all just praying that their Love is as strong as we believe it is and has withstood all this BS. Michelle Bender I don’t think Harry and Louis grew apart cause of management, it Dosent make sense, if Zayn and Harry were pretty much spit swapping on stage if management was so homophobic wouldn’t they have told them to take it down a notch? I think the rumours and everything the boys did was turned into Larry the amount of times they had been awkward after being asked about it to the fact they wouldn’t interact but could if they wanted.

You're naive if you think the music industry works like that. It's a business to them, a money-maker, and that means sell boys to girls, the biggest market, and ensure the certainty of that at all times. Zarry, although shipped by some at the time, wasn't a huge, wide-spread thing throughout the One Direction fandom, but Larry was - if you weren't a fan sailing their ship, you were a fan dousing it in petrol and setting it alight. Whatever the side, every fan stood to one or the other. And the fact that their relationship, whatever form it came in, was so intense, so obvious that they cared deeply for each other, no matter the form of it, it continues to add fuel to the fire that management needed to put out in order to keep raking in the millions. There are so many times Harry and Louis make eye contact or smile, and then their focus is drawn somewhere off-camera and suddenly they're looking down and closed off, like a child being scolded. The evidence is clear as day, it's even been heard and seen where management have said or gesticulated something or other for them to move away from each other, to make this action or mention that thing, etc. You don't see the dark side of the music industry, especially with 'manufactured' bands, however talented they may be, they're still owned by someone in every way possible. Each member of the band gets a label, a role to fill, and they forever have to live up to it as part of the group (One Direction being the only known one to gradually break free of those roles in small bits and pieces that go unnoticed to those not paying attention), and emotional and mental abuse is present, which is why so many singers and actors become mentally ill or addicts. They're forced to live the role, to put aside themselves, to play out stunts to portray certain things that need putting out into the world to manipulate the fans this way or that way. Setting up pap shoots and attempting to make them look natural and not set up for whatever purpose is needed. Back in the day, no one saw or heard anything about this, and even back then people knew, but these days, with social medial to aid it, we see and hear more, we learn what we never had access to discover before, and it's easier to put all the pieces together. If you look at all the evidence, whether Larry was/is real or not, that's not the point - the people running the show want their money, they want the act to last as long as possible to continue making that money, and if queer rumours start (as in, anything not considered cis-het, from sex and sexuality, to gender identity and expression, etc.), then it's quickly covered up here or seeds are planted there to ensure the fans see and hear only what the people in charge want them to see and hear, and they keep the guys in line, making them dress a certain way, behave a specific way, and so on. Zarry and/or Larry may or may not have been real, either way all three of them were undeniably close, but Zayn broke free of a situation he had never truly been happy in and the others stuck it out. I think the biggest reason why Harry is seen wandering apart from the others is that Louis, Liam, and Niall were like the three naughty kids in class that were always put in corners or sat outside in the corridor for messing about, whereas Harry, as much as he's up for a laugh here or there, is more serious, and he spends a lot of time in his own head, and it's okay to be quiet and zoning in and out of a group of close friends, they don't forget he's there, and he keeps them close, and that's all right. I think Zayn and Harry had the more serious side in common, and with him gone it merely made what was already there more obvious, plus the fact that Harry got into the habit of holding himself back from going to Louis whenever he thought they were being watched, Louis who he always seemed to lose himself with the most and let go and have a laugh and a joke. Liam and Niall always seem more serious around Harry, not that they don't let go and enjoy themselves like Harry and Louis used to be seen doing, but he interacts with them differently - they all act differently around different members, as most people do from one friend to the other, expressing different sides as and when needed. It's as simple as that. All of them were clearly unhappy and not as healthy as they should have been by the end of it, but they held onto it because for all the downsides, the upsides of getting to write and sing and spend time together and enjoy the fans was clearly worth it to them for as long as it was. It took a toll in the end, and I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner with how little time they had to stop and take a break, constantly working and under pressure to be this or do that. They're all happier now, still doing the same thing just in different environments, and I think that speaks volumes about how a little freedom goes a long way. And if they get back together, it'll be with new management (and hopefully record label), plus they have the experience of knowing how it works and what they want, so signing contracts will be something they're careful with this time around, only agreeing to what they can live with as individuals and as a group. They'll come back stronger for the break, and breaking away from old management, and if they don't, at least we all shared those wonderful years, but their health and happiness is the main thing, which they all seem to be regaining bit by bit.

i don't think harry didn't want to be in 1d, he loved it and i think that's quite obvious. but harry was being talked over a lot, mainly by either liam or lilo bickering around. it got better when they were seperated for interviews and harry was always teamed up with niall, these two got along from the start and niall always let harry talk and finish his point before he would say something. and when lilo/liam talked over harry in group interviews, it was always either niall or zayn who would answer to what harry said and they never talked over him or interrupted him. again, i'm not trying to hate on liam and louis, it's just that they have quite a loud, extroverted personality and often interrupt others. while niall would keep talking, harry and zayn always shut up when being talked over.

I read the comments and thank God i wasnt alone in thinking that it was mostly cause of Zayn. I mean... Both of them were so close while performing on stage and near the end they started sitting together on interviews as well. And they had their own thing going on while the three others had their own thing ... So when zayn left, he left with a void in harrys life. Even if you dont ship zarry, you have to understand that they were close and harry is a sensitive guy, he lost a person who was always around. So naturally he would have felt alone. I can relate

Well, technically all of them said themselves that they had sort of started to not get on as much with one another when Zayn left. And they have also said that the rumored ships that surrounded Harry, mainly the Larry one, was hurting their friendships. That even the most natural touching was starting to be awkward because of that. Nobody wants to go near Harry anymore because of the media and fans starting rumors every time he gets close to someone. Which really pisses me off that they do that to him. Harry is such a great guy and so affectionate, and for him not to receive affection is not right. He deserves to be happy and feel like he is cared about, but people instead were isolating him more and more as time went on. I'm surprised that he didn't break down towards the end. Maybe he did in private. But it wasn't Harry that isolated himself, it was everyone else that isolated him to the point where the slightest interaction he had with someone was read into in every way imaginable. It could have been just as simple as being polite or friendly or caring, but people would run away with it. Not right at all people.

Yeah especially the Delusional Larries they are still the most Annoying people in the world. Hundreds of people who know both of them said Larry was never a thing but Larries would never get the message. They are a cancer in 1D Fandom.

I think zayn was the only one in 1d who understood harry emotionally. I think they were both the emotional type while Louis, Niall and liam were the funny ones. So when zayn left, harry probably felt alone. But he stayed for the fans.

It is true, some fans claim that "oh they're all brothers" but the truth is that Harry was distant indeed. Zayn leaving, his whatevershitwasgoing with Louis. Now, Harry is so different from all of them(it's good tho) and he hasn't even spoken to Liam in 3 years. It tells something about their relationship

One of their bodyguard I think, said Harry was a loner in a group and one of showing the interviewer said the same thing in 2014. In 2014 it was sort of showing and after Zayn departure it was pretty clear.

I think when Zayn left he felt more lonely coz they were together all the time before zayn left, they were always together in interviews, walking with each other to cars and into buildings and venues

Tbh I think this was the result of a combination of things. I don’t at all think he just didn’t enjoy the band without exception, because he’s confirmed many times that he loved it and I honestly believe him. But I just think his more conserved attitude really amplified after ZAYN left, whether that’s because he was angry or sad he was gone or just because he felt like the group just wasn’t right as a unit anymore idk. But he definitely changed after March 25th. Also I do think harry was always an introvert, and the fandom constantly scrutinising him for everything he did, relationship wise (Including Larry shippers always overanalysing all his actions) only caused him to become that much more quiet and cautious about everything he did, to the point where he just felt like it was best for him to just sit it silence. Then an top of all this there was the OT4 tour, made in the am album and ALL of that, that’s obviously draining enough in itself... fair to say he’s got enough fair reasons to have acted how he did towards the end of 1D shall we say :)

I think that feeling of sadness and not belonging wasn't there until Zayn left.

I think he liked and wanted to be in it but the Zayn left and that changed everything

i just watched the first clip (0:16-1:01) and it was honestly so sad how liam and louis weren’t paying attention to H at all!! and people still think larry is real? zayn would always listen to harry while he was in 1D :( idk it was just so sad to watch 💛💚

Harry wasn't exactly kind to zayn either, the few times he decided to take the lead and speak he would also talk with the others and not pay attention, the 2 interviews when the members were asked to complement each other they ALL got good complements except for zayn, the only one who gave him a genuine complement was louis, what harry said "I admire your big toe" TF is that?? I think zayn got alone with louis better than anyone else but towards the end they bonded over they need to leave the band

Its nothing do with Larry? Louis was always there when H needed, its just his personality but without knowing the whole scenario we should judge

I do think by the end of one direction Niall was the only one who was actively looking out for Harry, and making him feel happier when he was alone ( eg when Niall went over to hug him during their rehearsal when Harry was alone)

There are so many times Liam interacted with Harry during the OTRA after Zayn left. With Louis and Harry, it’s to be expected that they’d have less interaction publicly because of Larry but that doesn’t mean they weren’t close behind the scenes.

honestly, you can tell by the end of one direction, harry was ready to go solo. he's evidently much happier as a solo artist. he gets more creative freedom and he can be more honest in his songs. I'm probably gonna get attacked for this but i hope that Harry doesn't get back together with 1D. he's far better and more genuine as a solo artist. just my opinion

I agree with this! I would only want him and Zayn to go back if they wanted to. I think he’s a whole lot happier and I’m really proud of him. I don’t think they should get back together like the Jonas brothers but I would like to know that they’re all cool with each other. I’d rather they be happy privately than faking it for us. It be pretty dope if they just did some random reunion tour or dropped an album but if he doesn’t want to and Zayn doesn’t want to I think we need to respectful and nice and let them be them. It be cool wouldn’t lie but it wouldn’t if they were faking it.

As much as I loved Harry in the band and the boys all together I think Harry has truly found himself and the right people for him to be around since the band went their separate ways.

Harry is the type to never complain because of how he grew up he felt as if he was lucky. Because anyone in the world could’ve had the opportunity he had but it was him for some reason so If something was bothering Harry he would never tell anyone(except for zayn) and I read somewhere that Harry was the first one to bring up a break but zayn had actually carried it out. so Harry automatically felt hurt and he felt as if he was a loner because no one ever really understood him Liam was always making jokes about the way he spoke or how Boujee he was and Louis didn’t want anyone to think he and Harry were a thing so they never really talked. Niall was literally the sweetest one out of the group he always made sure Harry was ok after zayn left.

I do agree something went on. The guys at times always made fun of Harry. On stage he sang alot while Liam & Louis played with water acting like little kids. I don't think he has much to do with Liam or Louis anymore. Liam said in an interview all was fine until the end. Harry has seen Nial but never says he's seen Liam or louis. Maybe he didnt seen Liam but if he did see Louis some Larries(I am a larrie but that is not proof) will say they seen each other bc they are togheter. And yes they did but because he was talking nonsense and there are video that Louis defend him. Ex: When Harry said that he bought a Tokyo T-shirt the interviews start laughing and making fun at him but Louis was the one saying that is nothing wrong with that. When Harry said he is not good at something(dont remember what) he said to Harry not talking himself down

To be honest in my opinion I think Harry was the most hurt with Zayn leaving I feel like he became lost and I also think he was getting tired and worn out that’s why I think this hiatus is a good thing for the boys to be able to find their love for music again and to get that rush and that just means when 1d does come back it will be better than ever

Niall always listened when Harry spoke. Some of the best interviews are Niall & Harry together. They listen to each other while the other one speaks & never interrupts one another.

Liam said in an interview when someone ask him, if he can be another member in the band per one day, who will be and why, and he said Harry, just for leave him a rest. Harry was since the beginning one of the most harassed by paparazzi and fans, I think that Harry loved being in the band in the beginning, he loved performed and he liked the music as well, but everything else, the fame, the No privacy, became really hurtful for him, and all the bad reputation the media made around him. He was so done at the end. I bet he had already a lot of solo career offerings long before they quit.

i think that's what brought him much closer to zayn, they both seems the misfits of them all 😞

Someone said in another video that they seemed to get closer when it became just 4, but I’ve always thought otherwise so I’m happy I found this video. Looking back at this time though, you can see Harry evolving to the solo artist that he is now. Even during those last performances, he would put in a little extra spunk in his vocals/body movements as opposed to the boys that were just up there singing... I’m proud of him for making it through and realizing he has soo much more to add!

I love how Niall at the beginning shushed lilo, and paid attention to Harry talking because Zayn was the only one from the start who used to pay attention to what Harry actually had to say.

I am addicted to reading comments while watching

Heartbreak really changes you and whether their relationship was platonic or not. HARRY WAS SHOOK, when he left. He was acting so strange. I watched several interviews where the interviewer had to ask if he was ok. I'm sure they weren't allowed to ask him PERSONALLY how he felt about Z leaving so they would dance around it. I have a whole theory about this, id better not get started. Comment if u wanna hear it tho lol

I didn't get a notif for this guys but I am back and it seems like my theory was partially correct and we have found out that 1. Zayn triggered harry 2. We found out why: they had a fight and apparently it was really bad because harry was a drunk mess afterwards, again strange behavior for someone who was only supposed to be his coworker. But.anyway we know it was pretty bad because till this day NOBODY will talk about it. Not even blabber mouth liam and you know he loves spilling the beans. Everybody is acting like they don't really know what happened and if they were close which is fishy af if you don't know better. And harry was not ok! And sinse fine line has released, and he did promo i think you can see the difference between how he was then and how he is now. Not to mention the endless connections in the music, people like to say we are tinhats...hm maybe but there are things being written and said by both of them that really make you wonderm

Harry always acted different once zayn left Harry had a much better connected with zayn than the rest of the members of the band I don’t think he meant to be so distant but when zayn left I don’t think he felt that he had a reason to stay anymore him and zayn both never really connected with the band I think they both wanted to be solo all alone honestly but Harry isn’t like zayn he can’t be as honest and blunt he tried to give us what he thought we wanted but that we really wanted is for him to be honest and happy I’m just glad that he is solo and can be himself now💜

i actually thought the same, but didn't want to believe it.. i think he had good times in one direction too, but about 2 years before zayn left, he wasn't that happy anymore. but after zayn left it got so much worse. i first noticed him being distant in the ot4 interviews. he just wasn't the same. we know that he wanted the hiatus and i often get the feeling that he really doesn't want a reunion (maybe except a reunion with zayn)... wait. i think he only sang one direction songs with zayn at his concerts, didn't he? tell me if i'm wrong tho.....

Okay I know is to late. When Zayn was still in the band, He is the one who pay attention to Harry cos Z was the quiet one, and Z would pay attention more with Harry. Discussing something when three other boys answering the question. And now, he just like Alone. No one would pay attention to him anymore

... Remember Harry had asked twice for the hiatus and been denied ... Zayn then left suddenly. Think he knew it was coming ?!? ... Z wouldn’t just blindside him, or would he . . . ?!?

Harry was very aware of how Zayn was at the end of his rope and they had most likely talked about leaving. Knowing that wasn’t an option, considering that the tour was sold out ... Harry did try to get them some time off ( he didn’t want Zayn to leave and Zayn confided in Harry ... remember how he called Harry his rock😣 ) ... I’m not the one with the answers, but I did compare the research of that time and the articles stated that he asked for a break twice and both times management said no! We’ll never know if Zayn would have stayed ... if they had been given some time off, but it’s very likely😕

I’m sure Z was grateful that H tried to get the hiatus but H knew all along. it just hurts my heart knowing that Z was overworked and had a lot of pressure. Z said that he’ll always love the band but like he’s not proud of the songs or like, he wouldn’t just casually play them if you know what i mean. i think they all noticed that Z was coming to an end with 1D but they did nothing abt it while H tried to get the hiatus. H rly is Z’s rock. and Z says he “never really talked to harry”.

Okay so this may or may not be controversial. But, I believe that Harry was always the type of person to keep to himself a bit more. There was one interview with one of One Directions body guards from 2012, he said that Harry was always the type to listen more than start conversations. He would be shy around people he didn’t really know. Although he seems quite outgoing on stage and maybe in interviews, he was still very shy and awkward behind the scenes. I think Zayn leaving did not help at all. Harry was sad, and probably felt more disconnected from the group than he ever did before. It is now 2020 and we have seen him grow and become more comfortable with himself, which probably helped him become more comfortable around others. Again this is just my opinion, I love Harry and all the boys with my whole heart.❤️

It's nice to watch this video, great job. And what you are arguing about is true, Harry is kinda distant from the band as soon as Zayn, his rock, left. I'm not saying 'Oh, Zarry moment!' this is my opinion Now, look at 2013. Harry was Harry, smiling, bubbly, Harry. Zayn was there to keep a close eye on him so he doesn't die *cough* Fire incident *cough* Another reason I believe Harry had gone distant is because of Louis himself. Like the pinned comment say, Louis had been more judging and rude, meanwhile Liam and Niall just viewed from the sidelines, can't really talk back to Louis, afraid they'll get attacked by sarcasm as well. If you see the old ones, Zayn is like Louis' partner in crime. You can see Louis will play around with Zayn on the sarcastic comments and stuff, while Harry just viewed the two with a smile. Then, after their peacemaker (Zayn) left, things went downhill. Harry became lonely, Louis became ruder, Liam became the glue trying to piece together this band, Niall trying to help Liam.

I think harry became distant after zayn left. I mean he is a sensitive guy and zayn and Hazz were really close so harry felt betrayed. I mean harry was never the same after zayn left. But that doesn't mean that he hated being in the band I mean he really enjoyed it that's obvious but as harry said, there were definately times that they weren't enjoying it and felt trapped but in the end they had to take a step back. Harry wasnt distant before zayn left, he talked slow so Liam and Louis usually talked over him and stuff. They were joking around. Notice that after they were separated in interviews things were alot better. Oh and to people saying that he doesn't want 1d to reunite cause he never says wanting a reunion is probably becuase his solo career is really going well and he can't just leave that (I could be wrong tho, but this is wut I think)

I think they were all happy at the beginning.. Bt we can all see the fame, stress, all the time in the road, criticised for everything was too much for them... i mean common 5 albums in 5 year and being constant on a tour is definitely not a easy road..

Can’t believe people got mad at zayn. Zayn was the bravest, he stood up to everyone and left. All 5 of them were tired they were just kids getting pushed hard, they didn’t get that childhood, there was some sort of interview with Liam where he said in therapy he got asked what do you enjoy doing, liam didn’t do anything or know what to reply with because he didn’t have the time, their schedule was insane they would be all over the place and it was too much. Zayn just wanted to live a normal life with a bit of privacy like the rest of the boys

me too🥺 but now in this tour don’t they look a little distant either? On the first tour there were a lot of interactions between them and on this tour there were hardly any and when there were interactions between them and Harry came to Mitch and danced in front of him or did anything else Mitch kind of ignored him. even in all the paparazzi photos Harry always going with Jeffrey and never with Mitch. I love them and their friendship so much and I hope they are still as close as they were

I think this video was taken way too seriously. This is simply a video of how a person perceived certain situations, which every individual does. They could be wrong. They could be right. Everyone’s arguing, and many are saying how there’s no possible way Harry could’ve been distant or hated 1D (even though the video didn’t ever say he hated it). And those people may be right, just as the ones who are saying maybe he was distant and not as into it by the end of 2014/2015 might be. But, no one knows. No one knows what Harry felt or thought. No one knows what any of the boys felt or thought. For all we know, Liam (just using him as an example) could’ve wanted the hiatus more than Harry, and we just don’t know about it, or he could’ve just never said anything for whatever reason. All we can do is guess and make conclusions on what we know, which honestly, isn’t much because no one is in the “1D inner circle,” and no one is inside their minds. So, there’s no reason to be rude and hateful to the creator of this video just because your views aren’t the same.

guys everyone out here actually spoke the truth and i feel thats great but i think niall supported harry too just like zayn used too. I am sure harry still loves all of them but that feeling is actually really bad cause i have felt that and u just cant help it. Anyone saying that Liam and Louis hate/dislike Harry, never supported him, or were jealous of him are not speaking truth. That’s just slander. Liam and Louis can be immature at times and they definitely bring out that side in each other. It’s just their personalities and dynamics. Should they have talked less in some interviews? Yes, but this video is seriously exaggerating, and the dramatic music makes it even worse. There are plenty of times Harry has spoken uninterrupted. He has different personality from Liam and Louis, and he wasn’t necessarily going to get along with anybody. That’s nobody’s fault.

Harry is respectful when others speak. he listens. the others speak and laugh. especially Louis, what an annoying guy.

I think harry wouldn't sing 1D songs on his tour if he didn't like or didn't wannabe in 1D. I will give you another perspective as I'm an Aquarius person as harry is. Aquarius people tend to distant themselves if they don't feel comfortable in some situations or they have a "kinda wannabe alone" mood. But that doesn't mean we don't like or hate being with those people. And Aquarius people don't like to pretend they like something if they actually don't. I'm pretty sure harry is like that. So I guess harry was just being himself. He loved 1D and will always love 1D. Sorry if you don't like my opinions, just trying to give you some other point of view. I always love your videos. ❤❤❤❤

But i am regretting why harry didn't show up at Brits yesterday when he knew the other boys were nominated in the same category with him and probably would show up. Even niall came although he didnt win anything. Maybe the management told him not to come? Or maybe he was avoiding the other boys and the probability of zayn coming too? Wtf this thought has been killing me since I saw liam and niall selfie at brits and no sign of harry.

I think he made the right call to stay away for this one..especially when he was only nominated for 1 award and it was for a video that he didn't really produce.. he just played a part in it.

He tried to hide that onstage and honestly he looked almost fine to me while performing. But he looked kinda sad and out of place. But there's no doubt he loves the band so much.

I always felt that. He was very distant since zayn's left. I feel like her was already planning his solo career because remember harry was the FIRST AND THE ONLY one to suggest a hiatus after zayn left

I love 1D but I’m starting to think Harry was always left out in a way because he was centre and personally when someone says 1D to me the first thing I think of is Harry in the middle.

I genuinely feel as though he seems distant because, out of all the boys, he's the one who changed the most. And to be fair, the difference in how someone is at aged 16 compared to how they are at 21 is massive. He literally grew up and matured. He stopped partying as much, started reading more, chose his friends a little more carefully, and became a lot more introspective. The other boys didn't really show a lot of change until after the break - they just stayed as they always were (which isn't a bad thing). But I think due to the fact that a lot of Harry's friends are much older than him, he grew up faster. The impact of Zayn's departure probably added to that.

There were so many changes happening to this band when these videos were filmed. Zayn just left, Louis' new fatherhood and then they also probably knew the band was breaking up. It's sad that Harry had to deal with all those changes. It didn't help when there were so many rumors about him and the band. I wish they noticed him being distant during these interviews. At least Niall was trying to get Harry included or noticed by the other two. Harry, and all the other boys, deserve the most happiness they can get. They don't deserve to be hurt in any way. They changed so many people's lives, they deserve the world but the world doesn't deserve them.

Well this is kinda obvious to me. i agree harry kinda not really get along with another (you can see in this is us interview, like when louis and zayn talk about fav music video & liam niall grumpy about zaynlouis not sleep make some noise etc). and harry seems close to lou teasdale (hair stylist) when in the band. Harry might be the cheeky one / funny and easy going in the group but we don't know what he really feel. I'm so proud of him . he can make everything looks fine and seems enjoy. even i kinda sad too. after zayn left and the hiatus liamlouisniall perfectly fine, you know after louis perform x factor? they took a picture together with steve aoki except harry. harry seems distant. and i just know he get along with niall (ellen interview niall). sometimes i felt when zayn still in the band, zayn and harry tried to assist & comforting each other and being so close :"). thats my opinion and i'm not only speak with no evidence . its about analysis and what i've seen. #peace #nohate #haveaniceday .

Maybe zayn felt hurts about what harry said or whatever (make some jokes when the interview ask about zayn left) laughing smiling outside but crying inside. Louis was problably mean because of larry and Liam was talking fats and Harry too slow. They alays protect him. Harry said he bought a Tokyo shirt and the interviews laugh at him and Louis was the one saying that is nothing wrong with that. An interview was making Harry uncomfartble and Liam trying to make him feel ok

After Zayn leave 1D Harry feel very bad

Harry was just tired, worn out for having to work on albums and record them, to do interviews constantly, to make public appearances and presentations, all that while touring non stop worldwide without taking any break to rest for years! You can tell by interviews that they all were very tired and looked exhausted and pressured even right before the hiatus was announced and started. Zayn looked overwhelmed and exhausted as well for a while right before leaving the band. I guess his anxiety issues and the fact that his music tendencies and influences were not shared by the other members of the band just accelarated his earlier exit. But one can also tell by their constantly documented interaction in concerts, interviews, tv specials, the movie they made etc that they all love each other and got along really well and enjoyed each other company and have respect for each other... Therefore I think with all respect that your impression on this videos is wrong...

If you see this comment this is after a year. And this video has been proven right by now. Truth is not always what you see on the surface. since the beginning Harry was a victim of media scrutiny, judgement, being overly sexualized and on top that his own band members' jealousy. No offense but it's obvious Louis and Liam were jealous of him. Idk why maybe cause Harry had so much potential and he had that particular charm a superstar should possess. They would either make snide remarks or talk over Harry. It's always Zayn or Niall who defended him. Sorry but it's not flowers and rainbows in there. Harry was going through so much bullshit and I don't blame him if he decides to never reunite. He deserves better.

@@user-bp1ls5bc2q god you put it absolutely right. i think as fans we all want to believe that our idols get along and they never do anything bad, but even today is easy to see that harry doesn't want anything to do with 1d, maybe he just wants to be on good terms with the boys but not in a band anymore, and i think this is the best decision. harry new fans are more mature than directioners. directioners are the ones that usually harass harrys family or partners because they have they feel like they know him just because he's out there since 16. If you let go of your love for the band (cause love is blind) you can see that he wasn't happy and probably keeping the image in order to not upset his fans or to not deal with the backlash.i really don't think he was that happy towards the end of the band and some of the members obviously were jealous

i know its sad to see him like this. Zayn leaving affected all of them but i think Harry showed it most. I think that if they did get back together Harry would not be there. He seems much more confident within himself now and i think he likes to look on his past with one direction but doesnt want to go back. The amount of stress that was also put on them by management is clearly not good for them. In an interview which happened in 2013 however, Harry is very quiet. The interviewer asks Harry why he is quiet and Niall mentions that Harry is a reserved guy. Everything that happened to them was building up for something bad to happen and i think Harry saw it coming, especially with all the rumours flying round about him and Louis. That clearly put a lot of pressure on their friendship and could cause them to not be friends in future. It is very sad to see him and them all in this way, but i think Harry knew that the chapter of One Direction in his life had to end, and it was better for all of their mental health.

Actually I feel like Harry was really close and funny and all when Zayn was there but started to drift apart from one direction and started becoming more serious after Zayn left

idk whats going on here but guys , come on. Yes he did seem a little distant and that is because of zayn’s departure , we all know about how he actually felt despite being all sarcastic about it when being asked in interviews. He did space out a lot in interviews and looked sad , obviously who wouldn’t. But NEVER once i think that he wanted to leave the band , ever. Guys , look at how much he gave in every single performance on tour. Out of Niall Louis Liam , Harry was always the one that was so hyped up and always give his all when performing. Since the beginning, he has always been so passionate about every single album that they release. Remember how he used to always say ‘I think Made in The A.M is so far our best album because we worked the hardest on it and we are proud of it’ . Recently , in an interview , the interviewer asked if he enjoyed the songs he was making while in the band , he really meant it , ‘i do ,until the very end’ Yes , harry never really talked about 1D reunion and yes , harry does have his own celebrity side apart from the boys , but he has ALWAYS been a big part in 1D , he is so close to all the boys , never have i ever once thought that he didn’t want it all.

I don't think he never wanted to be in 1d. I think he had fun with everything till like 2013/14. Then it all got to much. All the interviewers gave him mor attention that the other boys and i don't think he liked that. He asked if Niall and Louis can have mir solos. He was under so much pressure. People think so much about one little thing the boys do. He talks as slow as he does because he has to think about what every single thinh he says could do. It think in the end he just didn't have fun anymore. I wouldn't. I understand him.

My Hazza was broken and felt little alone💔after Z left as Z and Harry were person who had heart to heart connection even if he was friends with other bandmates but Z and H use to talk direct heart to heart. even if he choose not to show how affected he was after zayn but every true fan and or anyone could easily read his face that How broken he was💔he use to be at verge to a breakdown and He is super strong 💚and super Kind...❤ i am proud to say i stan the right man🌹🌈

Actually, I've expected this from Harry at some point of time. Also, if it wasn't for zayn leaving 1d awhile back, there wouldn't be sign of the times, flicker, get low and back to you. It would've been better to hear a reunion from Zayn because it would be surprising and unexpected. We all know 1D will always be 1D with or without zayn. Harry, think of the time when you said in a interview " Everyone wants to make new experiences and want different things." You shouldn't feel bad about of what zayn did but thank him for where are now. I have strong faith in 1D and its incredible watching you guys growing up through the years. Harry i understand where you stand but you achieve so much and i know zayn's proud of you and the other guys. Don't let 1D down now.

After Zayn leaving the band Harry never looked that happy like he looked before . It's hard to see this video when you are a directioner.

Do you all know Harry was supposed to leave the band even before zAyn?? He even said it that he was the first to bring up the talk about leaving but was talked out of it. So he just stayed. Harry has been distant since 2014 but nobody noticed. Even in an interview of their movie “this is us”, the interviewer asked Harry what he does after his day is over and he said it, she then ask zAyn if what Harry said it’s true and he said he doesn’t know because he just goes home after to chill after the day work and that Harry doesn’t hang with them anymore, he is with his Hollywood friends and Louis jokingly said “yeah, we not cool for him to hang out with anymore”. Harry has always wanted to go solo, he knew he had a chance to make it solo, he already had so many Hollywood friends and connections but he didn’t leave because of the band sake and that’s when Harry distance started (2014). Watch 2014 interviews/photoshoots and you would see. Harry distancing didn’t start from 2015 after Zayn left, it started since 2014. Zayn leaving just made it so obvious.

i am not so long a 1D fan but when i watch this video i start crying because it is really hard to see harry not beeing happy than zayn left the band

I definitely think towards the end Harry wanted to do his own thing he’s very different from the other boys he only really seemed kinds close to Louis that that’s it he was never really engage in conversation with them always doing his own thing but I think when the first started the band he was all for it but then they grew up which sucks but Harry had his own style just like Zayn I mean if you watched old videos before Zayn left he was very distant from everyone just like harry

I have to agree that the boys did seem to leave Harry out a lot. And I feel like that's a reason Harry wanted to go on break, Like why would you want to be with people in a band if your constantly left out by them? BTW I'm not saying they hate each over I'm sure they are all friends this is just my opinion.

Tropical Vanilla Ive said it 35 times now but same I hope they’re friends. I feel like when Zayn was there him and Harry were quiet? They balanced each other out so you couldn’t notice, but then it turned into them cutting Harry off and Harry most of the time traveled by himself.

Tropical Vanilla they were all great friends but Harry didn't seem like he belonged after a point. He tried to blend in but couldn't that's very evident so yeah its convincing that he suggested the hiatus

Mah Edats yeah Zayn and Harry were the quiet ones of the group. In fact I was quite surprised of how quiet and mature Harry was when I first got into 1D.

I thibk this one of the reasin why harry don't want to celabrate rhe 10th. anivwrsary bacause of this two arogant lian and louis.

@@marielaita1 Well, good for you. But they're still humble guys whether you like them or not. Your perception of them is not fact. Some people think Harry is arrogant and we all know he's not.

Specially when zayn left

Louis,Liam and Niall can be very inconsiderate when Harry is talking and they did the same thing to Zayn. At least Harry and Zayn let the others speak and not interrupt. Even in interviews Louis was the one to overtalk the others and not listen to Zayn and Harry.

@@xxtfr5449 lol louis and harry laughed together in a other interview in 2015, Louis said in 2017 that he was proud of Harry because of his new film, he loves Harry so much sometimes Louis and Liam are just disrespectful i personally don’t think it’s that deep because they all love Harry, Harry is just an introvert and he talks really slow so they sometimes don’t pay attention and we all know Liam and Louis are childish when they are together and everyone was a little bit sad at that time bc of Zayn.. It really wasn’t about who hates who and who loves who it just was a dark time because of Zayn and Harry was the most affected one
