I’ve been looking forward to this for 444 days
It’s been more than four seasons since I last performed on stage
And yet in 48 hours, those fortunes will all change,
Even a fortress of forklifts couldn’t force me away.
At times it’s felt apocalyptic like the four horseman
We’ve knuckled down like G(o)rillas, and I ain’t talking George Foreman
With reasonably priced tickets, not just the Forbes List can afford them
Why not forward this to four friends to four friends to forewarn them
We won’t forget that foreboding as things headed for closure
But for now the forecast is looking more hopeful
I would feel as fortunate as a four-leafed clover
If you left your four-poster and forayed your way over
Whether you’re a French Quatre (“cat”) or German facing your Vier (“fear”)
Out foraging, or out for a drink with your peers
Like formaldehyde - let’s preserve the arts for years
We’ve waited for this for over a year
Here’s a formal invitation to join forces together
We are formidable when we forge these connections
We can reform our former world now we’re informed for the better
I hope to keep on performing forever.
