Great timeline.. I only miss a deeper explanation on the Papillon tattoos. The leading roles in the movie are Louis and Henri.. who are stuck in prison and trying to escape. The most well known Papillon tattoo is the butterfly. This one represents the freedom he yarns for. Henri is also having two fern tattoos, which Harry has on his lower belly. The skull and the card suits are also present in Papillon and Louis has those both tattooed. In the movie Henri talks with another inmate and that inmate is having an anchor and two swallows tattooed on his body. When Henri asks him what the swallows mean, the guy tells him they represent the hope you have when you long for the freedom. Harry is having two swallows tattooed on his chest. Harry’s tattoo artist also confirmed some of his tattoos are based on the movie Papillon. I think that is extremely loud.

Also can we talk about the fact that the moth is inspired by the movie Papillon which tells the story of two men called Henri and Louis evading prison. Papillon (French for butterfly) is Henri's nickname since he has a butterfly tattoo on his chest.

To add to the Papillon tattoo connection, go to the original movie from 1973 and check out the tattoos placed on the chest of Steve McQueen’s character. McQueen’s character Henri has got the butterfly (Harry’s abdomen) as well as a skull and crossbones and a suit of cards (Louis’ wrist). The Papillon/Larry tattoo connection is undeniable.

Wow. I’m old enough to have seen Papillon when it came out. Read the book also. Excellent. I’d forgotten their names. They called him Papi, also French for father. I had wondered about Harry’s moth. Now it clicks. All these things are like pieces in a big 11-12 year long so far puzzle. It’s a sin what these guys were forced to do. They have fought behind the scenes all this time just to be together. Wishing them many more years, they surely deserve it. They may choose to be private for some time yet. As long as they’re happy. Good for them ❤️

@@franka3004 I know that Paris is his favorite town because in an interview, all the boys had to write on a page the name of their favorite town, and Louis wrote PARIS, and Harry wrote ROME. It's in a KZread video, I think in 2012 or 2013, from how was Harry's hair) , you can find it, but I saw so many videos that I can't remember in which I saw it . But I remember perfectly, I was happy because I'm French and have an Italian mother, and I love both Paris and Rome myself, so it was a perfect answer for me! :)

The one where Harry said “He’s a good boyfriend, he treats me really well”. and they laughed. Think it was before management had clamped down on them. They were asked to write down their favorite city. Louis wrote Paris & Harry wrote Rome. It was a sweet interview because it was just the two of them & was early when they could be open & not have to measure each word. Before the Big Bad Wolf blew their world apart. ❤️🦋

Harry's tattoo was seen the first time at 27 July 2012 (only 9 days later). The track talks about the issue of gay and lesbian rights and was recorded during the campaign for Washington Referendum 74. Therefore the song was unofficially adopted as an anthem by supporters of legalizing same-sex marriage. I think this and the lyrics including 'And I can't change, Even if I tried, Even if I wanted to' could be also a possible reason for his tattoo - it sounds like a cry out.

Saw a close-up of Louis heart tattoo. The inner one has a zigzag line down the center. Person writing said it appeared to indicate a heartbeat. BUT H & L both have very small outline only tattoos on their left chest that are kind of like “what’s that?” If you put them together it’s a heart 💔 ‼️ So the little tattoos are half hearts that fit to each other’s. Can’t get more real than that. I’ve seen Harry numerous times in concerts before a song turn his head & kiss his shoulder where his heart tattoo is. Since he’s solo he wears more suits &. can’t see. He kisses his ring or his necklace quite frequently. The shoulder kissing he did back in 1D wearing t-shirts. He’d even pull up the edge of his shirtsleeve. ❤️❤️ 🦋

There are a couple of tattoos left off that I don't understand because they seem pretty couple-y to me. 1. L's horseshoe missing 3 nails and H's 3 nails and 2. H's padlock and L's key. The other telling thing is that Harry hasn’t got many more tattoos in the past almost six years since the eagle. The other insect on his left forearm is really the only large one. I haven’t looked at it close enough to tell it it’s a bee or a fly. The fact that he got fifty something in three years in the band and hasn’t got more than ten side and they’re mostly little is the flashing sign that he was talking to the fandom/world and knew it and it was the only way he could speak.

Horseshoe and 3 nails? The two hearts? The harry black one he kissed multiple times at concert and the negative space louis one? Those are a pair too meant to fit into one another. The two swallow which mate for life. The bigger and smaller one. I don't understand the argument that because a tattoo is a cover up of another one, it can't have meaning to the boys. I'm not sure if it's true but I've seen it mentioned that Louis' "Given a chance" is a reference to a line from a George Michael song - "Waste this chance that I've been given". As you mentioned in the timelines, George Michael was closeted by the industry and brought up several times. Doesnt Louis also have a tattoo that says "Never gonna dance again"? I'm waiting on your 2021 timeline so you can let us know if it's true that Louis posted artwork on his songs on Spotify that depict Harry's heart and moth tattoos. I love these guys.. it's so infuriating that they were abused by their handlers! Can you imagine being a teenager in love and having adults tell you that no one will support you if they know you're not straight? Thanks for debunking the marriage theory.I don't buy it somehow..I think what made me believe their tattoos match was the "I can't change" & quoatation mark tattoo..cz the tattoos they covered them with was also a obvious match..Surprisingly they both somehow talks abt home too much in their songs..that's also solid..

In the 17 BLACK restaurant, *which the BUCK stands for a *MEN only establishment* inside of it, there is a HUGE picture on their wall with Louis and Harry in it. I have seen a picture of this picture. And, in the bottom right hand corner is the date, 2009, which PROVES a huge Larry tel, that THEY did know each other way back then, which was around the battle of the Bands, in where Louis' Band, The Rouge won; and Harry's Band, White Eskimo, did not. UNLIKE what he had bragged about during x factor on International TV, saying HIS Band won; and he NEVER mentioned Louis' Band, or even knowing him as the one he and his boys 'supposedly' won against. Also, a lot of their *former stories, had all been recycled to fit x factor and simon's agenda; and complete the script of the 5 Characters he needed to fill the spot, for their pre planned Group. In 2009 Twitter was not spelled like it is today, and the format was more chunky, the color was not yet Blue, it was Brown. It trends every year including the year harry yelled about anniversaries 😂 I also saw 88 ( 2 8's haha) on the door in the adore you music video plus channel 2 appeared twice. I recently saw that 28 was mentioned before their "anniversary" 9/28/13. During a twitter q&a at a San Diego show in early August 2013, Niall mentions Louis will be wearing his 28 jersey. So, 28 was his chosen number before the actual anniversary. However, Louis does raise his eyebrows and looks right at Harry when Niall says this which is very suspicious! it had been debunked!! i believed this one for so long because like, why would the two birds not be identical? one being bigger with arched eyebrows and one being smaller with curved eyebrows - that’s harry and louis, right? turns out the one that is bigger and has an arched eyebrow is only that way because it’s a cover up for a tattoo harry got underneath, it was a little banner with the word ‘LOVE’ written inside. I personally think it looked a little out of place and the birds are much better! you can probably find pictures on google.

Can you explain what did you mean by "they both saw the script before they met which happened on 2/8/2009"? What script and what's the date? Also, I love your videos, you're amazing! x

The Script are an Irish rock band. Louis and Harry both went separately, to see them perform at the same concert, the year before One Direction was formed. Hope this helps.

I have a question. I saw a video of a phone conversation of Louis directly say Larry isn't true and being angry about it... It was kinda weird and now I'm confused. Is that conversation real? Can anyone help?

i love this! but rq i dont think the 28 on Louis hand is a date of something, I'm pretty sure it's his olf jersey number form when he played soccer, he has mentioned that in a few interviews.
