HARROGATE | 4K Narrated Walking Tour | Let's Walk 2022

Join me for a walk around the heart of the historic spa town of Harrogate, one of the most splendid towns in all of Yorkshire! Home to street after street of majestic and exquisite Victorian architecture, built during a heyday when the town's natural, sulphur and iron-rich springs drew in wealthy visitors seeking their therapeutic benefits from all over the country.
On our walk around Harrogate, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including the Cenotaph, Bettys Tea Rooms, Montpellier Parade, The Stray, Montpellier Quarter, Montpellier Mews, The Crown Hotel, The White Hart Hotel, The Royal Pump Room, Valley Gardens, Mercer Art Gallery (former town hall), The Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate Council Offices, Crescent Gardens, Cupid and Psyche, The Royal Baths, The Royal Hall (Kursaal), Harrogate Convention Centre, Parliament Street, Winter Gardens, Westminster Arcade, Fattorini's, St. Peter's Church, Wesley Chapel, The Harrogate Theatre, Harrogate Bus Station, Victoria Shopping Centre, Market Place, and the Queen Victoria Memorial.

I've stayed twice in Knaresborough, which I love, but Harrogate is excellent for transport. The bus station is right next to the train station, so you can get to almost anywhere from there. I'd hop on the local stopping bus from Knaresborough, and be at the station in Harrogate in a few minutes, and then on to places like Ripon or Pateley Bridge. Thanks for your walks. Very informative, historic, and for me, memorable.

I’m intrigued about that bunker! I recommend not giving away where you live to people on the internet. Not a good idea.

May I just correct you. Harrogate USED to be elegant, that is definitely NOT a term that can be used to describe it any more 😏
