I think it comes down to Harrison being a regular guy, and has never let fame get to his head. He simply doesn't understand it as it is a job to him, and he doesn't like the fame that comes with it. Being treated as if he is a special celebrity all the time makes him feel awkward, or at worst annoy him, no matter if it is from fellow actors or anyone really. Ryan Gosling is just like in many ways, and really down to earth, and they share the same humor which is why they click so well.

You have to love their whole "Brian-Ryan" schtick where Harrison plays the aging actor with dementia. Just brilliant. When Alison Hammond alludes to Ryan Gosling's knitting he was genuinely surprised anyone knew. I love the British interviews. Harrison Ford - people think he is a grumpy man who doesn't suffer fools - the thing with him is he is playing the grumpy man - and if an interviewer understands that they can have a lot of fun. He is so funny - so many clips of him with people saying things about his grumpiness - if he was genuinely that way he wouldn't bother with the interviews at all - he doesn't HAVE to do that - he is Harrison Ford.

This is almost better than the original Blade Runner and that's saying a lot. When I first heard they were doing another Blade Runner I thought oh, that's going to be crap, there's no way they can even come close to the first one. I was happily very wrong. I saw it twice and you bet your ass I'm buying the Blu Ray.

I bet they were rushed to finish because of budget. They could make a whole universe out of the original concept. Don't tell Disney.

Just saw this today. Ford is usually a real smart-ass -- not giving answers to interviewers' questions. He hated appearing on talk shows and only did it to promote the movie because he contractually had to. You'll never see an interview with him unless it's his obligatory promotion of his current movie. I found him EXTREMELY frustrating as they must have while trying to interview him, just trying to do their jobs. But Ryan seems to have loosened him up and, as everyone here has said, I love the chemistry between them for the interviews. Ford is an introvert and introverts generally get exhausted by being among people and interacting with people. They recharge by being alone whereas extroverts thrive off of people contact. I learned this because I am a severe EXTROVERT and I married a severe INTROVERT. He was the love of my life and I lost him after 45 years of being together. I'm lost without him. He brought me down a bit and I helped bring him out a bit. We were a perfect match. And he loved Harrison Ford all the way from the pageboy in "Dead Heat on a Merry-Go-Round" and Bob Falfa of "American Graffiti" to everything he saw up to 2021. I'm glad he got to see "Blade Runner 2049". Crying now. Anyway, loved this KZread video with Ryan.
