The Underground railroad was old Indian Trading Routes not just a group of people. And she had to be Indigenous because there is no way she would have knew those routes if she and her family was born in slavery. You people better start thinking and doing your OWN research while using common sense.

@Norris your really not picking anything apart because that's my opinion and a fact that Harriet was braver than most bm around her in that time period. Just because she was a woman doesn't mean you can undermine the things she did and compare what she did to others because she was one of a kind. Once again this video is about Harriet so I said what I said

Too busy aggressively chasing down movie and TV roles that where she'll have a white male as a love interest.like in Widow she'll will have roles where's she's in relationships with black males, but those relationships will be negative 99.9% of the time and she won't be dolled up (The movie Fences confirms the part when I said about how the relationships are depicted in roles and how she's not dolled up when she's with a black man) like she is when she's doing a role where a white male is her love interest.

Harriet Tubman is in the arms of the Lord, can you imagine the party heaven threw this lady. Hearing her story is like of reading the great men and women in the bible. such a hug in pack on people's lives, yet underrated.

I was 12 when I read her story. I had great respect for her even at that age in my middle class upbringing. I didn't understand what it meant to have the life of a slave, but being hated and mistreated myself I could really relate with her. I think that gave me the strength and courage to wait until I can leave on my 18th birthday. She died the same year my mother was born.

Harriet Tubman was an anointed leader She was definitely our fearless leader when we needed one so desperately . Slavery is inhumane for us and we have people whom we should be willing to have. anointed as. powerful and dedicated leaders ! May God. bless the Tubman's. household!

I very much enjoyed seeing this video about this important history. Thank God for the people who had the courage to resist the system of slavery. I live in Southeast, PA which was on a major route of the Underground Railroad . Harriet Tubman was a frequent visitor to our area, especially around the nearby town of Kennett Square,Pa. Sojourner Truth also spoke in our area. My mother, Frances Taylor, researched, documented and wrote two books on the Underground Railroad in our area. Thank you again for presenting this important history .
