Great translation mrrrtzm. Just some qualifications and aspects. In the last verse he sings "Töölönlahti punertuu" = "Töölö Gulf turns to red" (gulf in the middle of Helsinki). The "Logn Bridge" is the certain bridge across that Töölö Gulf. Long Bridge used to seperate northern working class people (reds) and southern upper class people (whites). There is still some marks of bullets shot in 1918 civil war in the Long Bridge. Finnish civil war was the most bloody war in Europe. So, knowing the history, "Töölö Gulf turns to red ... what leaves behind it gets forgotten" may symbolise something more than just a sunset. In the last two chorus he sings: "Though God forgives the wanderer this land never forgives This is not unusual finnish lyric at all. Most of our songs tells about misfortune and hard times and we like it so!
