G'day Morgan. Of the hundred odd channels I subscribe to, yours is one of only three that I have notifications turned on, because I don't want to miss my dose of wonder. Sometimes I watch turners and think they are just making it up as they go along. The way you construct your blanks, and the end result, makes it look like you know exactly what you are creating. I'm very happy to know that you find my work interesting😉👍🌸 Concerning the most difficult wood I've had to work with, I think it's certainly spalted birch because it's porous and crumbly, and therefore requires care when turning to obtain a clean finish😊and I would also add, on the other hand, knotty oak.

Morgan, have you ever used a 40-40 grind gouge? Or perhaps an Elsworth grind? Not that what you do is hindered in any way. Beautiful work as always!
