Foot pedal is redundant. The latin root "ped" means foot. It is simply pedal.

I can only imagine George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" played on the Wanamaker!

So glad the organ is now 100% playable! Am also looking forward to the complete restoration of the Boardwalk Organ in Atlantic City!

Walk across over to old Philly City hall and you find a huge stature of John Wanamaker. His store is the most beautiful department store still existing in the US. I think it puts Macy's NYC to shame even as a store. And recording there is also fantastic. I did lose a Zoom recorder there a year ago. Well, I have the pieces. I replaced it with the newer model but haven't made it out yet to use it. They weren't playing on the 2 days I visited this year on 9/11/19 week. I read about Macy's closing stores all over the US. I thought what could this store be if not a Macy's. Then I thought about a grand music palace. Imagine having a lot of the machines like you see at the Vegas Maloof mansion and Illinois Sanfilippo music palace.
