Well this was quite 😳 ominous! They are pretty but I don't t think I' d sleep if one escaped and was running about the house. I might leave and let it have the run of things 😁. That was fascinating to see the tug on the spinarette with the silk attached.

Needs more substrate! *RUNS*

The drama! The tension! The relief! Better than any of the xmas specials on tv right now. We all know how you do this Dave, years of practice, observation and learning. But, I'm still sat here, holding my breath, thinking "how the hell are you so calm???".....

I like the way the show always begins with a friendly smile and "hello guys" 😀 I think these are the nicest looking species of the web spiders, it will be interesting to see how they decorate their new homes.

Noone in the hobby deals with any species of spider as well as Dave. His calm demeanor and understanding of spider personality is second to none. Very enjoyable to watch someone so skilled with these awesome creatures.

I can't get over how long their spinneretes are. I'm an avid knitter and those spinnerets resemble old styled long knitting needles! Such beautiful and fascinating creatures, and they are not "creepy" at all. I also love how you are very gentle and respectful of your spiders, unlike some who will remain nameless.... I'm looking forward to seeing more Wonderful content in the new year.

Dave you really are the spider whisperer buddy not a single bolt at all from a genus of spider thats notoriously quick and bolty give yourself a round of applause 👏 mate it just shows that if you stay nice and calm yourself the spider will pick up on your behaviour and act as you do even with big new world species when you rehouse them with not a single flick of a hair I used too think that Tom moran was the best spider keeper on KZread but since I've been watching you these past couple of years my opinion has changed drastically look forward too your next video. 🙂

Brilliant work Dave. I’m almost speechless at the length of those spinnerets. Stick a crochet hook on the end of one and teach it how to make granny squares and you have the market in spider silk blankets 🤣🤣

It's just so many Spiders that I have never seen before! I really appreciate what you do in teaching me, as well as others, about the Spiders that I really know nothing about! This is fascinating! Ever since I was just a small boy growing up in Detroit, watching the Spiders in the garden or garage, I have been interested in ang catching Spiders and watching them fight wasps and flies and sometimes other Spiders! Seeing you re-house the last one, and pulling web from the spinnerets reminded me when I was a kid and we had loads of Gasteracantha cancriformis in our screened pool enclosure. I'd gently grab them by the spines on the abdomen, and they couldn't reach to bite. I could touch the spinnerets and 'pull' silk and wrapped two fingers together. If you did that with several of them, you couldn't pull your fingers apart. I tried not to do too much from each one, as to not take too much harm. I was a weird kid. 😂

These guys resemble huge Brown Recluse spiders to me.

What I love about you Dave is that you didn’t just half-arse your spider hobby and keep a couple. You built a spider emporium. It made me chuckle to see the industrial water sprayer for filling the water dishes / moistening enclosures. Thanks for the great content & hope you’re enjoying the festive break!

I stumbled across spider youtube maybe a year or so ago. I don’t like spiders but after watching for a year plus I now find myself actually liking some tarantulas and am even considering getting an aphonopelma. I will definitely say though the true spiders still creep the hell out of me lol.

This is the most cautious I've ever seen you, and for good reason. Those spiders looked like they were spring-loaded, just ready to bolt at any second. But you always have a good method to keep them calm and get them to go where you want them to. Can't say I'd ever keep one because I really don't like wiry, leggy spiders, but they're really cool nonetheless.

Do they have the largest spinnerettes? They are solo long!!

Looks incredibly similar to the Brazilian Redhead tarantula Bumba Horrida with the "thin" black widow type legs, bullet shaped abdomen and brilliant red carapace (lacking those long spinnerets though). Such cool looking spiders!!!

Happy Boxing Day! 🥰I had to google what exactly that is and it’s rather odd…it said it used to be the “day to pass out gifts to the poor“ but nowadays it’s a “day to go shopping for bargains” 🤔kinda like our Black Friday in the US but with a better original purpose I’d say🙄😬

They only use a very small area as everything is provided for them they are perfectly healthy ❤

They only need to make big webs if they have to catch their own food. These get their food delivered to them, so they don‘t need big webs to ensure their survival. Spiders aren’t intelligent enough to feel cramped or bored.

I hope you’re feeling better now. I also suffer from depression and panic attacks, and it is very cyclical. For me, anyways. I love being a part of the beastie room community. Unfortunately, there's just no stopping depression & anxiety when it wants to intrude on your life & invade your thoughts. I've just been taking it day by day, some better than others. And yes, hopefully Noah is just busy or taking a social media break, we all need a break now & then. Thank you for comment & kind response xx

Social media is usually so gross and cruel that I feel I need to be positive to everyone I encounter. Especially somebody who goes through what I suffer from. I didn’t work for seven years because of my depression and anxiety. Three months ago I got a part-time job and my life has changed so much for the better and all of it is because I now have a routine, so I totally understand that. Please know that I’m thinking of you and sending positive vibes your way ❤️
