Yea I use my Bang & olufsen H9 3rd gen and it all sounds so different compared to just using the phone speakers for example

I own many Bose systems especially my car has Bose built in but wow harman sounds clear with a crisp sound and the subwoofer is just incredible !

Ive had 2015 3 series with harmon kardon and 2017 A6 with Bose and i have to go with harmon. Its crispy clear, clarity and base is punchy with surround system.

I would love to compare both with the b&o Soundsystem in the Audi. That one was insane

Levi H I have an F31 2018 with Harman Kardon sound system and this was just half bass setting, if you go into equalizer you can screw up the bass double as the max bass setting, I don’t even play on half bass and you can still feel it hard

I had the A8 Bose system and it honestly surprised me. It had good bass and decent clarity

I have harmon cardon in my gla45 amg and i can say i still get amazed at the quality of the sound some days, i just love it.

Harman K. for high notes enthusiasts Bose for bass enthusiasts. I like both, but for long trips I prefer Bose. Imho

Harman more like a clean n clear sound make you feel like they are playing next to you while Bose sounds like you sit in a real stadium. If you could afford to have 1 of them equipped in your automobile, you're happy with either one. Which 1 sounds better depends on the person and the type of music you enjoy most. I used to install auto sound&accessories n I'd seen people spend thousands to build a sound system thinking getting the best but in my opinion, they only get louder; 1 of these sounds much more enjoyable in both high&low volume. So buy a car comes with them is da best choice.

My 2022 rouge is like a sound cabin. You can crank it to the max and it doesn’t drop clarity or bass at all. Bose thumps with clarity.

Man that HK hard to beat!!!

@@ambition2833 I listened to the video with dsp sound system from the computer. My ears are pretty good too. I am not a fan of both brands. My preference would be B&W or B&O. However, although the digital infrastructure Harman uses in this video is new, the sound is artificial. Bose, on the other hand, gives a more lively and natural sound. Sound editors play by balancing the bass or treble rather than lowering the bass and treble like Harman kardon.

I wish every car like below midrange has Harman Kardon and Bose sound system.

Both sound awesome, but not exactly a fair comparison if you had the same car equipped with each system side by side then it would be a fair comparison, I’ve had a HK system in my Subaru and I loved it, but I also have two C4 Corvette Coupe’s one a 1988 standard Bose system and now a 1993 Bose Gold system and love all of them It makes no sense when you can get a better stereo system to get a standard one in a car

Both are good harman is a bit nicer but.. that g11 costs 35.000 as u can find audi a8 d4 starting at 17.000 for a very good one.

My 2010 Buick currently has a 11 speaker HK system but one of the 6×9s in the back window is blown. After looking at factory replacements I've discovered that the OEM replacements are now Bose. Do you think this will sound good with the tweeters and mids being HK and 6×9s Bose, or should I look for something else?

Go for aftermarket Infinity or JBL 6X9's. Infinity, JBL, & Harman Kardon are all part of Harman International so that would be your best bet in my opinion.

You can't compare Harman Kardon with Bose, is difference from the sky to earth. Anyway the top is Bowers and Wilkins, it is insane on the new BMW generation.

Ich habe Harman Kardon in meiner 2013er G Klasse. Absolut geiler Sound (kenne auch vergleichbare anlagen zb. Hat mein vater Bose in seinem Maserati) und wenn man will drückt der Subwoofer auch richtig. Übrigens befindet sich der unter der Rücksitzbank XD

expensive sound system should mean the same thing as hifi, ie to reproduce neutral sound with a lot of details and a great sound image and to reproduce a good perspective. and separate music instruments in the sound image. But then also recording with good quality is required, ie better than MP3, preferably CD quality or better

I had both. I had a maxima 2020 with bose and now I have a 750i 2018 with harmon and in my honest opinion I like the bose better. I listen to mainly rap so that could be the reason why I like bose better, but hands down when it comes to clarity harmon kardon wins. Sometimes I listen to it and be like wow I never noticed that sound before to a song I heard over 100 times. Both has a place but when It comes to certain notes the harmon kardon excels exponentially. With me I prefer bose because harmon kardon lacks base and loudness compared to bose esp for rap music.

Mark Levinson is the best in my own opinion! But, out of these two, for sure the Harmon Kardon kills the Bose, I feel like Bose is nothing special since it is the usual "upgraded sound system" option for MANY car manufacturers....I like exclusivity such as Lexus and Mark Levinsons partnership.
