Rogers Behavioral Health's Matt Boyer, MD, and Lauren Scaletta, PsyD, present "Harm reduction in addiction recovery: Current state and treatment considerations.” Abstinence-based substance use treatment has evolved, and today there are additional evidence-based tools available, namely harm reduction. In this webinar, learn about the role of harm reduction in addiction recovery. The presentation will include an exploration of barriers to abstinence-only treatment, a summary of the current state of harm reduction, and case discussions with an emphasis on treating members of marginalized populations.
