Good to hear!

The video should show the lock being mounted on the inside of the bracket not the outside. Make sure to tape the lids with masking tape as soon as you take them out of the bubble wrap so you dont get any scratches. You may have to drill the holes for the bottom rubbers a little bigger to get the rubbers in. 1 i had to the other did not. the holes were much smaller on the side i had to drill. When attaching the latch assembly to the lid. Make sure the latch lever hole is lined up so the latch assembly is coming through the hole.

So glad they used black bags it made it so easy to see

Do yourself a favor and install those PITA rubber grommets and rubber supports on the bottom, first. Once the lid is installed it’s harder to get leverage on those little parts. Also, the covers the bags and lids are wrapped in make for nice protection from what ever surface you’re working on.

they are a PITA because the person drilling the hole made the holes too small. open them up some so they just pop in.

In the video the lock is being put on wrong, go in from the other side, also I was missing hardware to finish the lid straps other than that it seems to be a good product, takes a little bit of time to slap these puppies together and although I did it myself, another hand would be helpful

Has something changed with your kit since video was made in 2018? I had to install my lock assembly from the interior side of the bracket not the way you show here and in the instructions. Face plate would not fit and the 3 short screws were to short to catch the face plate. All seems to work fine with it mounted this way.

yes he put them on wrong and didn't put the correct side in the video. you will notice the lock is on the inside when he puts the cover on.

Every step is harder than the last. Currently trying to get the $&@?! red backing off the gasket adhesive. This is impossible. No idea. Ridiculous.

Will this fit on any saddle bag lid?

Total Garbage! I will be retruning if I can! Screws too long for the lock to function correctly! Seal tape sticky pulled off with the backing .... FTS!
