Incredible acting from 2:29 to 2:37 by Will Smith and Margot Robbie. Deadshot senses Harley's pain and she lets him carry her a moment, then gives him a look as if seeing him as something else for the first time

Commander sadiqi I don’t think that birds of prey and scuicide squad are related, this movie ends on a cliff hanger with Harley Quinn hugging the Joker, it wouldn’t then have a movie where they break up before the movie starts. Plus, scuicide squad two is coming out in 2021. I think scuicide squad is its own world

Yessir Haeata @Potato Oof is actually not wrong. I believe it was said that the director has said before that Birds Of Prey was supposed to be an alternate universe. It was more if it was Harley’s story without the Joker being a part of it as the alternate universe. Suicide Squad would be what really happened, and it really wouldn’t make sense to leave off on a cliffhanger like that. If the director really wanted that and it’s true, the second movie would pick up where they left off at the end. Well then, it would be two separate universes with Suicide Squad as the reality, and Birds Of Prey as the alternate. I also believe that Harley really loved him too much to do something like that, but that’s just me.

This scene was my favourite from the whole movie. Reason for this... Harley tries covering up her pain and sadness in front of her friends. Her friends know that she is going through pain. Deadshot sees this and it’s why he says “glad you could make it” that line alone made Harley realise, she isn’t alone. Deadshot then picks her up. There relationship in this movie was really my favourite and this scene showed it. He’s like a brother to her. And Boomerang then throwing her the bat. That there says “here you go, you are worth something. Your family” Absolutely love this scene❤️

@Jeric White yeah, it's just bad writing that made the film so hated, from what i've heard about in the comics she's a superman level threat in the least so it's a low chance the squad could have taken her down themselves and the trailers pretty much showed the joker in a higher regard than the enchantress, it would have been a better move to make the joker the villain instead.

The original premise for the scene was for harley to argue with joker once she was up on the helicopter, then he pushes her out to kill her. If the joker was really dead, harley wouldn’t have thrown her collar away, she was upset that he would try to kill her. The editing for this scene however, makes it look completely different than it was intended

The most frustrating part of this movie is that there are hidden gems like this throughout. Cast was never the problem. Everything management was.

ok here's the thing: if you take a look at the story line of the comics that suicide squad takes place in Harley knew that their relationship was very abusive already. And I think in this scene, what you see is less of a mourning, but Harley slowly waking up from jokers manipulation now that he's not longer influencing her. That's why she takes of the choker and throws it away.

Challenger Surface to Air missiles, the chopper is transporting an HVT, the best time to attack it is when it is stationary and is just dusting off. The hostiles they encountered have unknown arsenal of weaponry, which could include SAMs such as Stingers or Javelins. For high value extractions and immediate dust offs from within hostile territory pilots use flares as a precaution to ward off missiles when the chopper hasn't reached full speed yet from a take off. Considering their immediate environment, it's the only defense they have in such tight airspace. And the rapid descent towards the deck was used to drastically reach full speed.

It’s a tactic pilots are taught when extracting a HVT. While the HVT is boarding the helicopter, the chopper is stationary with little speed, so a dive would increase the speed to maximum quickly while the flares ward off any SAMS or Javelins. Obviously, the pilot was following the tactic, but had no idea a supernatural being was waiting for them at the bottom, obviously nobody knew his hands could extend that far to hit the propeller blades.

And I swear, when Harley was sitting on that car crying for Joker, those girls were sobbing. No shit! They were crying! Don't even tell me that "its a healthy relationship", "aww Nemo, they are girls, let it be". NO! Don't give me that shit. This is an abusive relationship, and I hate WB even more for portraying this relationship in a healthy way, completely botchering the comics.

What the fuck are you talking about? Harley and Joker seemed to have a happy relationship in the film. There were no signs of abuse or anything like that. They were happy together.

Were glad you could make it.. and get craziness and the looks of approval 😎❤️

I don't even care they were two crazy psychos .. it still made me cry. Love is love.
