    Good list! My first Harley was a VROD muscle. Really hard to customize with Harley add-ons, because they hardly made any accessories. I ended up finding a great metal guy and he fabricated a windscreen and passenger butt stop and luggage rack for me. I changed out the front pegs with Kuryakyn’s winged pegs that folded in and out for extra foot placement points. I turned it into a great touring bike. I miss that bike but my CVO is a nicer daily driver. Pete

  • @ChopperFett

    @ChopperFett

    3 жыл бұрын

    Oh no doubt, a CVO or any tourer is gonna be a dream compared to the vrod, which in its own right, for me is super comfortable. I found a couple companies such as altered state that make some nice aesthetics but parts are a burden to come by. Luckily I don’t plan to change much as I like her how she is, just needs some more rumble and couple small things!

    The V-Rod is pretty good, but I see why you want to make some changes. I use a very similar GoPro set up on my V-rod...I thought Night Rod meant it has a black frame? Mine is a night rod, and it has a good mix of black and chrome...back to the video. I'm thinking 14" apes would really look great! 😀😀 The headlight is awful..I added Custom Dynamics turn lights...also work as running lights. Good stuff, brother!

  • @ChopperFett

    @ChopperFett

    So yes, the night rod is the blackened frame, but the anniversary is just a chromed out version of the Night Rod Special. All the parts are shared, just a different color. I'm not sure about APES on this bike, I like the drag style but it might make it handle a bit better.
