Top open are wayyyyy better than clamshells. Would have been kinda neat to see Bobber style leather bags too but the carbon fiber looks sick. Imagine carbon fiber with some gold weaved into it. Goldzilla fucks either way.

So much yes! Once Harley brings out Low Rider ST's with a factory 2:1 with these "proper" bagger bags they'll outsell the Roadglide easily.

I tend to agree … and top it off with a bit of an infotainment center. Screen,. AirPlay something a bit more usable to keep phone in pocket

Nice job Chris. I run a blue dot 🔵 incandescent tail light on my 2002 Night Train, I wasn’t feeling the integrated LED, so I cut in some dot trailer leds, blacked out into each bag. Spade connectors for quick disconnect but once you have bags, there’s no going back lol.

Life saver about the passenger pegs. I knew about the exhaust but was curious with the pegs because I am running the same on my st. Thanks for all the hard work!! keep em coming!

Both the Advanblack and the Hogworkz brackets say exhaust needs to be below the axle centerline which explains why he needed to modify the brackets

Carbon fiber is a cool look on bikes. And nice Boris accent 👌 LOL.

I think they look great but just like Chris said it's a little too close for comfort with the exhaust. Other than that I think Chris did a hell of job modifying the brackets to make it work as well as him and IronJ doing this video 👍🤙

I like the bags on there. I think they look sharp!! Definitely like the taillight. That was very bright on camera. Can't imagine how it looks in person. My 2 cents worth!!

Look at Chris just taking over the camera now and being comfortable with it.

I installed this setup with the nasty hog chopped bags with the fuel moto contender 2into1 and I was also worried about clearance But to my surprise it had plenty of room alot more than that hpi pipe

Good work Cris! i plan on doing the same with my ST someday (since i challenged myself with fabricating highway bars, i just might challenge myself building those brackets you made) just for the extra storage when taking long trips. Not sure if you men requested a same size clam shell for the right side that will not get in the way of the 2-1 exhaust ?

What if you put some heat protection tape under there by the exhaust?

Just go to home defect. Get some foil tape from hvac section. And tape the bottom of that bag above exhaust. Or make aluminum heat sheild. Put some dyna mat on the back or something

Should have just lowered the muffler. The Advanblack brackets fit the bags and bike just fine when the muffler is below the rear axel.

Those bags are sweet!!!! Not a fan of the clamshells.

Love the bags on the bike. When you get your new custom exhaust sell me the one you are taking off. It would look so sick on my low rider s!!!!

Id have gone with carbon fiber FXRP bags from Villain2Hero rather than these. I love mine and they didn't require a frame mount, only the struts. That, or I'd have mounted a new exhaust. There's a ton of great options that are below the axle centerline and I'm sure you guys have a few in your shop. Way too close for comfort the way it is now

This bike has come a long way since then! The bags are useful for trips for sure. And y’all used to always hear my voice in the helmet, which = my voice closer to the mic, which causes what they call vocal proximity, adding richness to the vocal quality. When the mic is further away, I have to speak louder, so less vocal proximity richness 😅

You have to get a spacer for the passenger peg that block has on his bike, or just rig it up with some washers stacked together. I did that and it worked Edit, I have the same pegs as block

Hi 👋, Guys . Did you just get nipped by your German Shepherd , I am sorry to say I didn’t like the fitting of those bags 💼, especially as they are empty and they are virtually touching the exhaust, I think that should of made new support brackets, I love the exhaust, and the bags. Back in 1999 , I purchased a Soft Tail Deuce, and purchased a set Hepco & Backer , side bags and top box , they come with inner bags , they were called Journey , with all of the hardware, I then purchased just the hanger brackets for the Deuce bags, and fabricated new mountain brackets, it take me 2 days including repainting the frames, billet aluminium brackets. It was less than half price of the original bags and kit, I love your work shop Tutorials, I look 👀 forward to seeing and hear 👂 your new exhaust, great backing music, I am listening to this through my recently rebuild transmission line loudspeakers cabinets, stay and ride safe, Phil from the moulin France

The bags look good "better with Gold accents" The AI thing is a scary thing if in the hands of the wrong people, but could be good thing in the right application.

Do customers ever have an issue with having their license plate on KZread? You could have a bunch of basic blockhead mock plates with magnets glued to the black to quickly attach and remove at will.

those bags look so much better than that clam shell crap they put stock on the low rider st. i wish they would use a smaller skinnier verson of those on the stock low rider st. that would be too great. thats why harley will never do that

Harley needs to come out with a V4. I am sure R&D tight as emission issues and electric future. With higher interest rates/tighter money more cash going into paying debt vs R&D and innovation. Many high debt companies will go bankrupt

Awesome work. Bags came out great. I'm curious if a customized heat shield under the bag will help reduce & deflect heat from the exhaust. A.I. is going to eliminate a lot of jobs in the future and affect how society interacts and operates. Kinda scary.

AI would be nice for a chatbot especially when booking appointments but it ain't got shit on your or Justin's editing chops

You did what everyone with AI is currently doing, just say "AI" 100 times in a video/call, and you views/stock goes up. So all the studying you did paid off. The bags are cool, but $6k? That's like 30% of a new low rider s. The question is, do I need to pay 30% of a low rider s to hold my Gatorade zero? I'd just chug it, and then pee on the side of the road. But in all seriousness, it's cool, but the price isn't justifiable unless I have a lot of disposable income.

I'm not going to write or say anything against AI, because IT'S listening.. The US NAVY ran a simulation with their AI computer program that controlled their, tag along fully armed jet drone units. Consisting of, one human pilot in a F22 and two AI controlled drones, following behind. When they programmed in the mission parameters they stated the mission was to be completed at all cost. During the mission something went wrong. So they aborted the mission. The AI Program wouldn't abort. The NAVY tried everything to shut it down and couldn't. The AI decided it was being attacked by the enemy and turned on the Human Pilot and tried to destroy the F22 and the Pilot. Then continue to achieve its objective and complete the mission at all cost. Lucky for Us, it was a Simulation.. I don't think we're ready for AI... .....🌐.....
