You are right, its a great bike. At least they called it. They fixed my Softail in 15 mins, it was easy. 1st service on my CVO today, a few updates and the recall too, im happy HD is on it, the CVO is a monster, i love the bike. Good content as usual!

Harley needs to reopen the Temporary Close York Assembly Plant

What makes you think there is a closed plant, that was months ago and was like 2 week closure.

I'm also in Australia, yesterday I saw both the X350 and the X500 in my local dealership so I can also confirm they are being sold here. I can also confirm that we Australians don't consider ourselves to be an Asian country although we are considered to be in the "Asia Pacific" region of the globe

Still don't own a Harley yet but I do enjoy your updates and knowledge concerning the Harley-Davidson brand.

I like recall, it means they have found an issue and are fixing them.. HD eem to have less than my R1200 Bmw.... They had Steeringdampers, front fork sliders, now rear drive shaft. But they dont cover front shock seal blowing of which i had 2 go bad... I recon HD do good.

Have you done a video on the latest recall for the cvo? With the extra hp and torque it’s a race to 99mph if you have the street glide cvo!!! The fix is a strap and a weight and tuning the bike to limit speed to 99.

I'm surprised. Usually when Harley has a problem that needs correction they offer a kit or part you can buy to fix their engineering mistake.

And this is why I still have my 2011 dyna street bob 🤷

Hey Mike, good video. Do you think if the over sea's sales are good, Harley might ease up a little on the ridiculous prices we are seeing on the touring bikes? I watched every race of the King of the Baggers. I just miss out going to Road Atlanta this year. I am planning on going next year and paying the extra money to ride the track with the Harley team riders. Do think the CVO 121 CI motor will end up in the King of the baggers? The Indian is a 121 or 122 CI. Some may say Harley had advantage with the 131 CI. but almost every race the top Indian team was having mechanical issue or wrecks. In Texas on the 2nd day both bikes fell out with mechanical problems. I was glad that Vance and Hines were able to go 1 and 2 in the championship. I don't if you watch the video from Fueling, but they are tearing down the engine on their CVO. They have made some improvements on the heads. The intake port are almost oval. Looks like they are saying the VVT will work off of oil pressure?? If you watch it, give us your take on it. I am hoping you are getting closer to releasing your video on the 3rd quarter numbers.

I think there is a good chance we could see a team or rider on the 121 eventually but not sure it will be in 2024. I think if foreign sales are good it could slow the price increases we see here, assuming they are good enough to help stock valuations. 3rd qtr numbers will be released next week actually so be watching for that video soon!

Although I agree foreign sales numbers can help prop the company up, the u.s. market, the one we are part of, needs change. TBH, when one is paying well more than what the bike is worth, they're doing it to themselves. The moco tries to claim their bikes are a luxury item. If so, where's the worth and value for what is being purchased? One must drop thousands of dollars to make it run like it should. One has to worry if their suspension knob is gonna cause a flat tire. I wouldn't doubt their next step is to claim you don't own the bike, you just pay to use the thing and can shut it down at any time (thanks computers).

I think anything smaller than a 500 is too small for the US. people drive too fast for small bikes in the US.

It is a shame that Harley Davidson has another recall. Especially on such highly priced bikes. At the price of the CVO models every component should be the absolute best and so should be the engineering. Even down to the smallest of details. They do not need anything to perpuate their reputation of being unreliable.

So doing 70-80-90 mph on the Interstate is not a big deal when you get a flat tire BECAUSE of the faulty screw that may blow your tire and your Evil Knievel skill might save ya?? Talk sense my friend please someone will or did die or got hurt because of that screw/bolt. Same thing happened with BMWs drive shaft that locked on a few peoples bike with as far as I know lost his/her life… And if that’s not a big deal then dunno what is… Maybe because Harley Davidson is paying hush money to the safety agency that oversees things like that?? Take care from last hot day Southern Arizona…

If your referring to the recall for softails there has not been any reported injury but not sure why you would say there is hush money considering they are doing a recall over it.

I have been saying for years, Harley needs to make a 350 and 500 for the new rider/commuter market. There is no reason it can't be made in the US.

Harley can keep the overpriced CVO as well as their Chinese bikes. R.I.P Harley-Davidson
